General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Not much of a "boycott" thing so much as it's that people are getting way over-invested in this to the point that People are doubting the attendees will act civil toward the Niji members or their fans and thus be a liability.

This isnt Offkai rejecting Niji, and probably shouldn't be seen as a good thing in general. People and companies seeing the behavior of Niji and saying "yeah I don't want to be part of that" is good, fans acting like rabid chinks during the coco yab era and making organizations pull out for fear of the fans instead of in response to anything to do with the company is just making the market seem hostile and volatile and isn't a win in any book. those are tranny """boycott""" tactics
this a normal mori stream?
She had planned a karaoke stream from cover's studio to lead up to her new original song release but wokeup with a cold and wasn't feeling up to it and it just kind of tumbled down an unhinged rabbit hole from there.

New song is debuting soon too btw

this a normal mori stream?
Not really...

Anyways, new MV!

You really believe offkai had planned to cut the niji talents over safety concerns for 2 weeks and just didnt mention it until now? Just coincidentally when people started putting together the common thread among those who were unexpectedly rejected from the con? and after it started getting publicity?

Liacons and Himebitos will buy these.
everyone knows who really keeps phase solvent

If the market is "hostile and volatile", that is ENTIRELY NIJI'S FAULT. They caused this situation to begin with, so its entirely on them. The fact is, Offkai is rejecting Niji; their brand is radioactive and toxic. And the brand of those three talents in particular is downright mud at this point. Nobody in their right mind would want to be associated with it. Most people wouldn't pee on Enna if she was on fire. That's what happens when your company acts like an ass in public; other people disassociate because they don't want their rep to be dragged down by being near you.

I haven't really been paying much attention to the other side of things, has there been a lot of harassment directed to the Niji talents?

Worst I've seen is them getting clowned on in the replies of their tweets or in comment sections, but I don't think there's a concentrated effort or anything to spam their chats or anything close to the coco chinkout or the average Pippa Tuesday after a controversial piece of media comes out.

Nijisanji EN had a very obviously coordinated PR maneuver where they all called out the "harassment" of an artist at a con. Where the "harassment" consisted of them overhearing people passing by their booth saying stuff like "Oh didnt that company do something bad?" Not even people speaking to them directly. It's all just a big DARVO

you're both right (and wrong).

people shouldn't go full retard just because a company is retarded. but because people ARE retarded, the smart play for the company is not let it get that far in the first place.
simple action <-> reaction.
after that there's only damage control and trying to calm things down.

For those who don't know:
FalsEyeD put out feelers asking for people who got rejected from OffKai, and OffKai staunchly rejected that the rejections have anything to do with Nijisanji/Erytha, despite FED (lol) not mentioning Nijisanji (other than the image).

If someone actually lined up rejections with probable Nijigger involvement, please do share. I have not seen anything of the like sadly.
Regardless, what fucking con sits on a cancellation notice for 2 weeks, a bit after the black screen video and a week of the fujoshi baits being baited by Twitter users? This part sounds extremely retarded to me.

I mean I don't disagree with anything you said so we're on the same page there. My points were just that This isn't Offkai shunning Niji so much as it seems to be out of concern for how fans will act, not any admonishment of the company or it's behavior. And that just because Niji was wrong doesn't mean I'm gonna cheer on the retard shit flinging mob or act like they aren't retards themselves just because they're going after something I agree with is bad.

If you take them at their word about why the cancellation was actually happening I could see a pretty simple reasoning. They were waiting to see if shit would calm down and now after waiting have seen that it clearly isn't going to. You could even roll in the cancellation/rejection rrat even if 100% untrue, as being the nail in the coffin that showed them things just aren't calming down.

As mentioned before, the strangest part is them mentioning the decision was made 2 weeks ago, while at the same time mentioning "recent drama/controversy"
If the decision was made 2 weeks ago, why not announced it then? Why now? And why do you have to mention the "recent things" as well?

this got millie riled up on her alt account.

How many trannies can we expect that will end up buying those socks?

Edit: I was originally being semi ironic about the trannies buying those socks, but uh
Jesus christ. We're going to see men posting them wearing that "ironically" I'm sure there are a few programmers in Pippa's audience that will prove the trope sadly correct.

The difference being one is a company who actually did awful shit and shouldn't be there.
The other i someone who follows Tucker Carlson on twitter being banned.

I don't believe for a second that they're doing it for artists safety. Anyone who harassed someone over Niji in real life at a booth is going to get their ass yeeted and banned from the convention. Real life isn't twitter.

Probably were hoping it would die down by now. Nope? Still going? Welp time to cancel.

Common Niji L. I still can't understand how Anycolor could make so many bad decisions that have led to Niji EN becoming radioactive to any kind of sponsorship. They have to blame themselves.
Their newest ir news says that their stock has been selected as loan margin trading issue. Looks like Riku wants too boost their stock numbers before the next investor call. Maybe someone here with more insight can explain if this is a good strategy.
