A "top" pornstar might earn $10-15k a week from shoots at the beginning of their career when they are in demand, usually they will do like 2 scenes a day. Eventually the newcomer allure starts to diminish and the pay starts to go down unless they move onto more heinous stuff like anal, interracial, gangbangs etc.. once they have done it all the pay is pretty sub par so they have to try and get as many scenes as possible to keep the money coming in. Keeping all that in mind, they nearly all live in L.A, have drug problems and spend frivolously on dumb shit. Most of them are broke after a couple of years.

Well, good for him I guess -- to boldly go where countless men have gone before. Compared to other guys who ended up marrying retired pornstars, he's at least normal looking and not a complete beta cuck. Once california tried their condom fuckery most of them fucked off to florida where its a fuck load cheaper plus way more undiscovered talent. everyone on the west coast has known about "modeling gigs" for decades now. plus people are way less uptight in miami vs LA. i've had the cops called on me 3 times in LA, and i was only there for a month. but porn sites have gotten away with public fucking and antics that would now be considered rape for decades. a lot of the "reality" porn in the 2000s from florida was a lot closer to reality than people think.

A lot of porn companies moved to Miami in the late 90's/early 00's. And a lot of pornstars are from Florida, but the hub for the "adult industry" is still L.A. You have to bear in mind these are fame hungry whores, L.A is the place to be if they want to get extra "work" on the side. I mean, the main goal of the modern day pornstar is to shoot porn for a few years, milk every penny out of it that they can, start an onlyfans/podcast, try and get snapped in public with rappers etc., date a streamer/youtuber. and ride the fame train for as long as they can. To that end, you need to be in L.A lol.
