One the one hand I wouldn't be too surprised if the madman actually did it. He obviously never got it through his thick skull his time as a breadtuber was over and just couldn't imagine himself doing anything less than being paid thousands to regurgitate on his pet topics.
On the other hand, James is a proven pathological cunt who'll lie and throw anything and anyone at something to get himself out of trouble. This reads like an attempt to 1) get himself back people's good graces and 2) get hbomberguy and the other breadtubers off his back. From browsing reddit's response it's worked like a charm - comments wishing him well as far as the eye can see and hbomber's people trying to arrange a welfare check. Colour me very fucking skeptical on this one.

Thanks redditor for absolving Kiwifarms of all responsibility for all of the "deaths" we caused and that it was right to document them for the lolcows they were.
Unfortunately it looks like a much clearer line between hbomberguy and Somerton's alleged suicide so hbomberguy is winning on the killcount leaderboard with 1 point, should it not be a ploy for sympathy.

I believe Bri*ain is overall more strict, and the quick stats I’m finding (40 guns/100 canacuck vs 4/100 britbong) corroborates that assumption, however in Canada you have to accomplish a firearm safety training, have 3-4 people vouch for you, including a current/former married partner, and various other shit like a state photo.
So more access to guns, but I can only assume this is a months-long process and not like he can just buy one on a whim, even with a loicense.
