He's been b8ing for months, so it's pretty reasonable at this point to be skeptical. However, the escalation to "if you're listening to this, I'm dead" is definitely eyebrow raising. He's either dead or he's going to have to byuu it out for the rest of his days.
The shit with Nebula is extremely suspicious, I'm still somewhat convinced that Hbomb's video was a hit-piece motivated by Somerton shitting all over the service. We don't know much about how Nebula pays creators because of an NDA they sign, but from what's public, Nebula creators get paid some proportion of the total revenue, so any bad publicity negatively affects them all.
