Honestly, if James fucked up, then he needs to fucking own it. Offing himself is just running away from the problems he himself created. Given HBomberguy's subreddit, he clearly has fans or at least people who care enough about him to wish him well. Why distress and upset them just because he's too much of a bitch to acknowledge his fuck up and do his best to move on? This is coldhearted of me, but regardless if James necked himself or not, or this as an attention grab and a cry for help, he just comes off as a selfish coward.

James, you dug your hole. Be a man and climb out of it... if he's even alive, I guess.

Yeah, Donut Operator (police bodycam breakdown YTer) has said as much which is why he, for a while, kept coming up with humorous ways to say dead/death.

Anyways, my only exposure to HBG has been through his last two videos (roblox and plagiarism), both of which are well researched, original, funny and follow an entertaining formula of 'let's put a spotlight on a serial fraud and dissect al of his lies'. I'd hope that he would keep doing that instead of discussing politics or video games, but it's likely that Somerton's antics might scare him off drama content which would be a shame.
