What are we on now, week 4 or 5 of the Trashcast efapping of every movement made by Eric July? It’s absolutely fucking embarrassing.

Expect those numbers to shed more rapidly in the coming weeks, despite his desperate attempts to keep his name in the griftosphere (though I suspect EVS’ subscriber base has a large amount of dead subs, so the drop might never be too drastic).

It's creepy you mentioned him right before recent news broke. I wonder if he's gonna be looked at more closely now and what you're saying will be a more complete phenomenon. I always thought it odd how he didn't get cancelled outright because of his prior association with Metokur. They eat their own.

In any event, I agree. Once you cross the line into the shitposty side of the Internet, you're usually marked for life. There's no going back to the "respectable" side. Null has spoken some length about how he basically will never be able to get a normie job ever again. I don't think the CG people could go mainstream now, even if they wanted to.

Oddly enough, I have found this side of the Internet (including most of you guys here) way more tolerant, friendly, and pleasant to be around, so fuck it.

This point seems obvious to anyone paying even a little attention, which is why it completely sailed over Simple Zack's head. I'm almost certain the reason he DFE'd his edgy videos and stopped hanging out with the Frog crew was due to his retarded fantasy that he could get some kind of mainstream traction with his Expendables book and whatever project he can shoehorn himself into on the coattails of a legit celebrity like Stallone.
May also have something to do with why he said nothing about the porn video "leak" or call out the people who were holding it over his head for years. Someone was keeping that under wraps with the promise of a more respectable comics gig if he cleaned up. Exactly who that was will remain a Comicsgate Unsolved Mystery thanks to Ethan.

It seems like if EVS wants you out of cg, you're out of cg...BUT if you're successful and don't care about associating with cg (razorfist and july), EVS will jump in and claim that SJWs will think you're CG anyway (a label they put on you he says) so EVS will call them cg.

Wait, does that mean EVS is the SJW?

Neither. Have you ever seen anybody who's hit absolute zero? I haven't. Usually, in these situations, sub counts fall to a certain point and then level out. Dead accounts, people forgetting they were subbed, a minority that disagrees with the majority, etc., are all reasons zero is highly improbable. People like Mundane Matt and Kraut never came close to zero, for example.

I feel like Jim Sterling might be special enough to hit zero with how rapid his loss is. @Kraut at least knew when to shut up and fuck off long enough for people to forget he was alive.

It's actually slowed to about -2K per month. Which is about on par with Rekieta. I'm confident it's not gonna hit zero, but even if it were, it would probably take a long ass while to get anywhere near there,

EVS is hard to get a handle on because Socialblade isn't showing his loss rate (I've noticed it doesn't for some channels). You kinda have to manually keep track of it, and I can't be arsed. I do feel like his loss rate is much slower than Sterling though. He's been hovering at about 145K for a while, and just now dropped to 144K.

That's not Socialblade, it's Youtube which tracks things in thousands and doesn't release metrics outside of that due to the trackers that followed Pewdie vs. T Series and the like, before that they showed each subscriber gain or loss.

Okay, then that would confirm EVS is facing a trickle of a loss compared to Jim Sterling, Nick Rekieta, Vaush, and the like.

I imagine Ethan is gonna maintain something of a loyal following of paypigs for a while, but I don't see much upward mobility for him anymore either.
