I guarantee you the majority of these people covering for hbomb were also fully on-board with the "Kiwi Farms killed byuu" narrative
Eh, I miss the “disagree but still love you” reaction. For your post and for Hbomb. He's got some shit takes and I couldn't be paid do watch his older stuff, but I don't dislike the man or even
some of his videos and, yeah, I think if James sucks off a shotgun it'd be no fault of his.
I don't know if I have a point in this, but I just imagine the “KF killed byuu” guys just already had a preexisting beef with the forum and rallied behind a narrative they'd probably wouldn't have cared much for otherwise (byuu wasn't much beloved by anyone in particular iirc). With James I think it's a different phenomenon:
He lost the mandate of heaven and so his masses were upon him.
Because they recognize this as an internal thing, and James and Harry weren't (as far as I know) in different factions inside their broad social space, it's hard to spin this as a targeted attack on someone. If it had come from outside, or could have meaningfully been spun in that way, then James would have attempted it, deflect the attack on the out-group, alt-right neonazi kiwifarms.
Any news on confirmation though? Or his co-writer? Hbob was kinda thorough in his video but he didn't scrutinize him as much, which comes off as weird...
