My advice to any journalist writing: wait and do research. Dig into the claims. Compare what is said in the files vs what is claimed to be said. I’ll have my piece hopefully tonight but I would highly caution anyone from treating it as reliable, it’s worse than the Paul piece.

He is, of course, missing the point entirely. How the editorialised sections compare to the leaked documents in the appendix is only barely relevant. There is no comparison to be made with Pamela Paul - this is a leak, not a NYT opinion piece.
