I don't know of anyone actually doing this, I always thought the spam DMs were just that, annoying spam. But on the off chance that someone is afraid of being negrated by Hollywood Heil Hitler and randroid craptor it's pretty easy to avoid that by not posting in the TES hugbox thread. It's pretty rare that I even see HHH post on A&N anymore, but maybe I just don't pay attention

I do not understand.

For the record I didn't have sticker notifications on to begin with.

So the reason this was changed was because certain very down and out, terminally online people were scared of negative ratings.

They obviously have internet brain worms, they're going to go back and check their posts manually if they're that infested, and chances are then they won't want to engage either because they can't see positive notifications.
They don't not want to see notifications, they just want to see positive ones because they've got problems no website changes can fix.


So then what, are stickers in general going to go away after they go back and check it manually, so highlights don't work and everything anyone writes is followed by 10 short "yeah I agree/disagree with that" posts?

If these people find that stickers are interfering with their ability to use the site and they really want negative ones gone, then they should be pointed to the option in their account they can uncheck to make them go away that's been there all along.

Just more "certain people don't have self control, and they're loud, so everyone has to pay" bullshit. Just the usual.
