To add insult to injury, fucking SHAFT made the anime. One of the better animation studios in Japan, and they shrugged it off like nothing.

Honestly didn't care about RvB after season 5 when it ended the first time, but that shit  was hilarious back in the day. Never really gave a shit about achievement hunter or ruby or whatever else they were doing.

RT was only every RVB for me, and RWBY was something I never got into.
Then it went retarded and I forgot about it. Nothing of value was really lost, since Monty Oom died and that was a great loss to RVB, and without him they lost the peak they'd hit with the animation, but at that point the storyline was getting retarded as well and it was all downhill.

From what I remember from Monty's death was that he went in to have a procedure done but had a reaction to one of the medicines and never recovered from it.

I missed that fiasco, but I remember how heavily they shilled that piece of shit Old Republic MMO. They were so glowing about it. What a disaster that turned out to be.

Rooster Teeth's RvB is some of the funniest shit ever put on-screen, but they lost me after they went big and woke. The final straw was their smug This isn't an airport - you don't have to announce your departure tweet.

I'm not the type to call for public boycotts. I just follow a personal policy: Avoid buying products or services from companies that hate me, which means I haven't watched any of their stuff for years. But hey, now that their company's on the slab, I might check out some of their earlier RvB seasons for nostalgia's sake. I miss Caboose.

I think they even kicked Kathleen out before Joel over allegedly "bullying" some of the young women that were getting hired into the organization around that time. I've always suspected that was bullshit and that there was more to that story.
