The question isn't the magazines.

The Nasty Girls got egg on their face for no mags during Saint Floyd Sitins.

The real thing is: Is the bolt carrier in the weapon?

Standard is drop them in the ammo can with the LT, or put it in your pocket.

Still, how long till some fucking subway crackhead decides that Nasty Girl might taste good?
For a minute there I was thinking younger talking about the firing pin. Was trying to figure out how that woukd help if they needed to get it reinserted fast enough....then had a flashback to disassling my m16 and remembered the bolt carrier and was finally snapped out of the jarhead stupor and saw you said bolt carrier.

I want to see Trump forego having a VP. He can be like, "Nah, not this time. I won't be Penced again. I'm a maverick."
No, that won't work because it makes knocking him off too easy. He has to pick a VP that either hates the Deep State more than he does or a VP so retarded--like Marjorie Taylor-Greene--that knocking him off will make things worse for them.

What I would like to see is Trump do a Roadrunner maneuver and win the election, but decline to take the office itself. By refusing to step into the traps of dealing with the consequences of Biden's policies, he can avoid blame, make journalists seethe that he isn't taking office, and force the Deep State to keep all its scams running indefinitely. Declaring a recession when Trump is not in office only makes them look bad and they have lost control of the Russia-Ukraine war, meaning they can't have a forever war.

But, I think when you say "the left" you personally and this thread as a whole mean the hardened rabid left that makes up about a fifth of the voting population. They are a lost cause.

They seem to have no real understanding or grasp of the underlying problems that created Trump. They seem to believe that the future they want is perfect and utopian therefore any attempt to disagree with it ,or worse resist it, is out of evil.

Jonathan Haidt did a study on this phenomenon as part of the process of writing The Coddling of the American Mind and showed that the hardened left quite literally do not have a theory of mind for people who disagree with them.

If you ask a Lefty (defined as Left of Center) when the Left can be said to have gone too far, they will literally not understand the question. They will look at you like you just sprouted a second head and started chanting in a language lost to time.

(If you ask a Rabid Lefty (the Progressives / Neo Marxists / that wonderful 8-20% you speak of) the same question, they'll call you a Nazi and try to get you fired and be made permanently unemployable so you can go off and kill yourself as an enemy of the Revolution.)
This - all of it - can be traced back to the Marxist belief in "the relentless march of history" being an inevitability; according to Karl Marx and his like, all people deep down have an inner Communist that's just waiting for the right conditions to be met before popping out like a chestburster from the Alien series. It just so happens that this belief grants them the marvelous gift of doublethink, due to the unshakable truth that The Revolution will inevitably happen, combined with the unshakable truth that they must fight to bring The Revolution to pass at any cost.

The two hemispheres of the Radical Leftist brain can therefore take turns, with one becoming completely unresponsive to outside stimuli while the other is working full-bore; people have brought up the Motte-and-bailey comparison before, and it is about as close to a perfect descriptive metaphor as one can get.

Anyone have links to any of the Jan 6 capitol thing videos?

I whana see how much violence that capitol can take.

Biden’s allies are begging him to fight harder. The State of the Union is his chance to do so. (archive) (CNN Lite)
But with anger about rising prices driving so much of the bad vibes surrounding the economy — even the Cookie Monster X account posted about shrinkflation on Monday, prompting a response from the White House — Biden is going where he long resisted, in an effort to redirect the fury that has been weighing him down in the polls.

Leading Democrats say it’s far past time.

Two dozen top Democratic officials and operatives who spoke to CNN said they’re tired of reading that the president is cursing about Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu behind the closed doors of the Oval Office, or hearing reports that he told donors that Vladimir Putin is “a crazy SOB” and that MAGA Republicans are worse than segregationists. They want to see that passion and fire out in public as assurances that the president’s behind-the-scenes demeanor doesn’t match the public perception of the 81-year-old commander-in-chief are wearing thin.

“A lot of times you need to hear it from the candidate,” said Tim Walz, the governor of Minnesota who’s eagerly thrown himself into becoming one of the president’s most active defenders. “Joe Biden’s a nice guy. People get that. One of the things people wonder, ‘Is he tough enough to take these things on?’”

Plus, Walz said, it would push back against the concerns that Biden is too old.

“I think it helps. He’s still going to be his age, but I think it helps to make the case on this,” Walz said. “Punch [Trump] a little bit. He earned it.”

Multiple Democratic officials told CNN they are hesitant of how much of to say, weighing the risks of calling even more attention to what Biden isn’t doing by going public.

But privately, many talk longingly about wanting to see more passion and pride – political theatrics, sure, but ones that they argue are crucial – at a moment when exhaustion with the process is pervasive and the Democratic worries over a second Trump administration are high. Biden’s effort in standing up for democracy shouldn’t top out with a few sly digs on Seth Meyers’ late-night show, they insist. They argue he shouldn’t give a forceful speech marking the anniversary of the January 6, 2021, insurrection and assume that will fill out his energetic quota for over two months.
