What may be inefficient to one person might be efficient to others though, there's no way to objectively say unless we literally take our stopwatches out, and even then, if they like doing it that way, what does it matter? What you were doing before wasn't efficient tho, it was completely retarded. Scrolling through a long lists of reacts to find a thread you want takes a lot more time than just clicking on the thread from the forum list or your profile.
Even if I wanted to be this mentally ill and constantly check the "Reactions received" section, it doesn't even work properly. Clicking on any post doesn't take you to the post, but to the beginning of the thread. Besides, there's a difference between "I want to be notified if I get a reaction" vs. "I'm going to check every 5 minutes if I received any new stickers". It's one of those things that if it's there, then great, but if it's not there, going out of your way to see it is just weird. I just want to click at the top of the page to see what I got, I don't want to go to a separate page. Yes it's ONLY 2 CLICKS but when we had a smoother user experience before, this is an intentionally clunky downgrade.two clicks. it literally only takes two clicks to check if you have gotten any new reactions

null is completely right about this feature turning people into retards and i hope notifications never come back, fuck you
See above. Here I go, fresh new day, logging into kiwifarms.st, and the first thing I do is go and click top right on my name, then on my profile proper, then on the "postings" tab, then click on all of my posts of the day before, opening multiple tabs, to check on each and every score to see if they increased or not? What you guys are suggesting is far more indicative of a mentally ill, dopamine addicted individual than simply having notifications on.Seeing the general community sentiment of a post you make. Check the post 24-48 hours after it's made and see reacts. It will only get more of the same as time goes on, so there's no need to know about it and more stickers on it after this point are irrelevant.
You don't have to be so doomer about it, it's just a fun little thing that takes maybe 1 second off your day. I don't think anyone here cares that much about the stickers, aside from those that very much only had them on as pseudo-bookmarks, those of us who just wanted to know what people thought about a post, or wonder what we said on a post we made ages ago, we'll live, but I found it to be a fun little detail, and fun little details being removed make the site a little less fun, is all, but it's not life or death. This is so pathetic and Redditpilled I'm almost speechless. Holy shit
I don't think anyone is going to do that, but mein nigger, you were the main nigga who talked about people using group DMs to avoid "tainting their scores". I'm not saying this is all your fault, but I usually like blaming everything on someone, so this is totally all your fault.I'm not so sure I want you people making low quality posts in random threads just so you get sticker notifications reminding you to go back. I'm warming up to this even more, I think. Lurk more.
I think judging people instantly because of their join date is gay, but I did like instantly judging a newfag when they were being newfaggy, and flexing my epic join dateWhat I miss even more is join dates, the number and especially the color is a good hint as to whether or not you should take a post seriously before you even read it, it's annoying that now you have to click the name.
(Why did he even do that one? Seems random. Just hide more shit behind menus, why don't you)
tbh kinda sick of the reddit comparison. reddit's binary up/down system influences the weight of the post with default sorting whereas there's no weight here and posts with large numbers of negative reactions get highlighted as well as well received posts.
ergo being dogpiled on by the community makes the post more visible whereas on reddit, it just vanishes. it is not comparable
