Well see then you use that time to pick another popular thread, only read the last page, announce that you hate whatever everyone else seems to be hating, and move on.
This also misses the point of... if I am strictly navigating off saving watched threads, that necessarily means I will have to manage that and continuously add and remove threads that I wanted watched... for long standing threads like Ethan Ralphs twitter feed or Chantals thread, you will add them and never remove, but what about threads like this or article and news threads where you may be temporarily engaging in discussion, but you will never use that thread after a week or less? I'd prefer not have to solely rely on a system where I have to constantly add and remove threads from the watched section.
Jokes on him I'll go through all 3,868 of my posts to manually tally them up. Just don't give me any stickers for the next month or so while I go through them all or it'll throw the count off
All your replies to threads can be found on your profile. Literally just click on them from there. Or just navigate to the thread yourself?? Are you able to cross the street without someone holding your hand?
Nigga, why make it two when it was already one? Less is more and the fact is, whoever didn't like sticker notifications could turn them off.
If I have a choice between doing something in one click or doing it in more than one click, I would prefer doing it in one click.
The problem with those notifications is the alert disappears even if you don't go and read the thread. There's also the matter of, if I see I got a bunch of reactions, there's a good chance the thread is fairly active, with watched threads there's no way to gauge whether it's just a single post or a bunch of posts.

What you were doing before wasn't efficient tho, it was completely retarded. Scrolling through a long lists of reacts to find a thread you want takes a lot more time than just clicking on the thread from the forum list or your profile.
I feel like Null laid out his reasoning for doing this pretty well, but I understand someone who can't be assed to click twice instead of one also can't read more than one sentence at a time.
Where are you getting "can't be assed" from? Nobody is saying that this system has made using the site impossible, we're saying it's adding unnecessary friction.

Thanks for the tip, but I already used the watch thread page. My watched threads list includes threads I only want to read on a weekly or monthly basis. I used reaction notifications as a way to jump to activity in threads I have posted in within the last 24-48 hours. There are also threads which I am briefly interested in but don't want to deal with putting on the watched threads list.
