Sweet Baby Inc. and the Steam Curator Group Conspiracy - The company that is responsible for the diarrheic video game writing.

I'm not too keen on this whole Gamergate 2 thing yet.

After all, sequels are never as good as the originals.
I disagree. I believe GamerGate 2: Kiwi Farms Edition has the potential to be the sequel we never knew we needed, especially with the coincidental and serendipitous timing of the Keffals shit going mainstream. Plus with a Trump v Biden election happening later this year it seems the stars are aligning. We'll have this nice, happy overlap that also feeds into fact that the pendulum is finally swinging the other way and it's starting to sink in to people about just how deep this DEI and ESG well goes and reopening the talking points about the cathedral effect by journalists controlling narratives.
I truly believe that we are so fucking back and I cannot wait.

On election year with Donald Trump having won the nomination too.

You know what that means, don't you?

It's not too late to apologize, the 20 year plan is in full motion.

He will tweet about it.
I mean, I always figured he would get the nomination but I was not expecting the polls to already be in his favor for the General.

I think there is some of that, but I also think there is some genuine resentment for white people from minority groups. Especially when you see that half of it is written by Jews blacks etc.
Yep. There are entire black communities out there that actively distrust and resent white people, teach their children and other black people in their communities to do the same, and actively admonish blacks who aren't "black enough" in their eyes (Kanye West, Clarence Thomas, Uncle Toms/Oreos).

TL;DR
These faggots never cared about minorities and sexuality in the first place. They just use it to both propel themselves to stardom and protect themselves from criticism.
God's honest truth, friend.

I got the president of our student association sacked over twenty years ago, ostensibly for "anti Muslim prejudice" over an intemperate email, refusing the SA's support for an incredibly incendiary pro-Palestine protest I had ginned up some useful idiots into attempting to hold at a major university event.

I am a committed Zionist. The real reason I did it was that she had made a half-hearted drunk pass at my boyfriend, and I wasn't being fucking disrespected like that. So I engineered her being levered tearfully out of her post. I was sure to publicly comfort her, having hung the blame on the editor of the uni paper. I didn't like that cunt either.

It was a sabbatical post, so the cunt had to go get a job, and she got yeeted out of the comfy spot she was in with Young Labour, so I probably ruined her promising political career as well. Bitch shouldn't have fucked with me.

The social justice cancel stiletto has been in use for far longer than your youngsters realise, and it is used 99 times out of a hundred for personal vendetta bullshit.

Nothing changes. There are just more players in the game now.

2024 is turning out to be a repeat episode of 2014-2016, even the timeline is on a writer's strike.
Except if 2014 was when woke crap was on the rise, this one seems more like a repeat where they're all coming to dig their own graves.

Tides have turned, people are sick of this shit, and people are dropping what little tolerance they had for woke media almost entirely, as of late.

It's incredible to me how simply noticing and pointing out connections between people and businesses is so deeply offensive to them that it provokes such a visceral reaction to it. I'm not going to make the obvious reference to "naming" people but I love how just the tiniest bit of sunlight panics these people and makes them scramble like cockroaches.

Why exactly do they feel the need to hide who they are or what they do, especially when they openly boast and brag about it themselves? Why is it suddenly a bad thing if someone else notices?

Why does "noticing things" offend so many people?

Yes, those questions are rhetorical. The answer is "we don't want people to notice we're being fucking evil."

Now I want a late 90s/Early 2000s style dark comedy film based on your adventures

You're right except for the last sentence. GG was a fucking mess and led to worse outcomes but it was a genuine consumer backlash.

This time though
  1. The urinalists have lost nearly every bit of dignity and goodwill they ever had and are increasingly ignored.
  2. The companies that make video games are in a rough ride right now.
No reason to expect the same outcome, after all 2014 is heckin not current year and in the non clown version of current year the troll doll hair HR/PR psycho just looks out of touch.
I’m in agreement with you, and I’d like to add something that came to mind reading your post.

As Gamergate came more into play, the market of video games was expanding greatly. As this market expanded, the newcomers were easily influenced by journalists at the time. I believe this is one of the main factors as to why it was determined to be a loss on the side of the gamers.

This market has pretty much fully expanded now from a general audience perspective. Over this time, bit by bit, these journalists have been shown to be hacks who hate the medium up until this point. The key difference now is that the entire expanded market is less green. People are generally somewhat aware of what makes a game good, bad, or annoying, even if they can’t articulate it well. This has increased skepticism against these writers and journalists.

I also believe that the great shift of reporting to social media has also crippled these journalists’ control over narrative. You can moderate your website and hide negative press, but you can’t stop yourself from getting blasted on instagram, or laugh-reacted on facebook, or ratio’d on Twitter by unambiguously upset market consumers.

There may be some of the same combatants in this situation, but the battlefield has drastically changed. They have much less leverage than before.

I feel optimistic that these bastards will finally get what they deserve.

Like Gamergate this sounds like a promising start but if the facelords at the front start caring too much about “Good PR” and “setting the record straight” it will fail.
Whatever path they take in this, it is mandatory that they dive deep into researching each game journo and white knight's insane post history to show the public exactly what kind of two-faced shits they are dealing with.
