I guess I could if I ever felt like it. Though at that point I might as well make a full response to them instead of using a sticker if it’s that important to me to let them know.

I’m not sure how I feel about Null’s reaction. On one hand I agree with him and think it’s pretty funny to watch them seethe over stickers. However, reading some of his responses here it doesn’t seem like he might be letting it all get under his skin a little too much which seems kind of hypocritical. I don’t hold that against him though.

People need to keep in mind that Null, despite running the most polarizing site on the internet and all that other drama, is really just a normal guy who’s honestly kind of a dork. I don’t think we should hold him to some higher standard as if he’s a celebrity as some people here seem to want.

In short, he’s allowed to get mad about stupid stuff and have his own little pet peeves and that’s okay. You don’t have to agree with his choices and he doesn’t have to agree with ours. The world keeps turning and as long as the site stays up we’ll have a place to congregate and eventually we’ll foster new problems to bother Null with.

Minor point but I'd disagree with this. Conditioning yourself to fall in line with the hivemind is dumb. If all anyone is going to post is what everyone else expects and wants to see then posting on a forum is pointless, you could just read what everyone else is saying.

These changes will probably significantly affect the highlights feature as well. I'm noticing that people are giving less ratings in general. It makes sense since we've been directly told that stickers don't matter. Even though the highlight feature still works, so technically stickers can matter, but I guess it's like a psychological thing.

The highlights feature was always kind of wonky. It might bump you down the thread to a couple useful things, miss some key info in a post that only got one or two informatives; then you get to a highlighted post that's just like "lolnigs" that got 1 winner, 9 trashcans, 2 drink!'s, 4 autisms, and 1 like.

Honestly, I think Null should bring back the "join date" but keep sticker notifs and count off. I want to know if I'm talking to, say, a based newfag or some "I'll die on this hill before ever admitting I'm wrong" oldfag like, say, the Hulkster.

Null should make a feature for the site, that if you have an even number of posts, your J key is intermittently disabled and if you have an odd number of posts your F key is intermittently disabled

I think half of the issue could have been resolved by removing rating notifications for A&H, Mass Debates, the wo/men-hate threads, and any off-topic board. Those boards are the worst when it comes to reaction raging. The reactions on those boards are ultimately useless since they exist solely for shitposting.
