Does the fact that the creators are trannies factor into its rating?

While it can be a red flag, I’m focusing on the games themselves. Only time outside sources are going to be accepted into the OP is if it’s directly about the game.

This alone shuts down all troonguments. Pal with a BENIS needs to INSEMINATE a Pal with a VAGINA in order for them to have BABS (from an egg).
How does a Fox lay eggs? Uhh, iunno, I had a D- in biology.
Also the game has zero (0) shitskins (every character is hwite, including Le Exotic Twink Man), no girlbosses, no trannies, and features a Pal which literally exists only to FUCK. IMO you should add a "negligible" score.

That’s basically what the Mild score is, easily ignorable unless you’re actively looking out for that element.

Suggestion for a new category. Localization. There's a whole thread about how games are being censored during localization. Might be worth adding to the list?

Feels redundant if there’s already a thread dedicated to localization fuckery.

I only care that the game is good.

I plan on adding a line that a game being put on the list is not necessarily indicative of its quality, good or bad. Hogwarts Legacy basically has Body Types and a trans character, and that game’s still pretty good for what it is.

Should be contextual, but generally if they're out of place, excessive in number, etc then it's likely woke. A lot of it comes down to the tone and even the design.

Ah, I was wondering whether this would come up.
I'd like to dispute a few things here. I was actually going to suggest an "adjacent" category for them above mild.
The reason the main character in UNDERTALE is sexually ambiguous is because the fact that they *aren't* you is somewhat of an obscure spoiler.
The two instances of homosexual relationships are the the only woke parts of the original UNDERTALE. The flawed "message" is debatable but I really don't think you're supposed to take it too seriously.
The mess surrounding Kris is indeed stupid but my MatPat theory is that it's appeasement if a certain ship gains any credance. Also, Suselle being canon is up in the air even if it's Toby's fetish.
There's some cringe lines from the new guest writers but you can spot the difference instantly. It really doesn't fit in well.

I'm under no illusion here. Toby quite clearly has those sensibilities and the people he hangs around are far more vocal about it ...but if Toby was actively trying to use these games as mouthpieces, wouldn't it be far more blatant?

I choose to believe that no one can tell because Kris is the only human they've ever seen, and Asriel will anticlimactically reveal it once he shows up.

I don't think they're necessarily conservative, since they removed a placeholder "Red Pill" Matrix reference and "noggin joggers" referring to complex puzzles in response to Kotaku nontroversy hitpieces on them, saying they didn't know they were "hateful connotations."

There's a much more practical method to determining whether a game is woke or not, just see if they have any affiliation whatsoever with Sweet Baby Inc.

Kingdom Come Deliverance by Warhorse has none. No current era bullshit, women valued for qualities beyond hitting things and only historically accurate diversity.

Add Skullgirls to the list. Developed by Lab Zero and currently managed by Reverge (same people, new team/branding) The devs have had multiple dramas.
Lead programmer/Engine desinger Mike Zaimont getting cancelled for talking about BDSM undertones with a woman who reached out to him about it on Twitter and decided he was making her uncomfortable. Currently involved in a lawsuit, claiming there was a conspiracy to out him from Lab Zero games and management tried to manipulate his actions knowing he has autism.
He also made a George Floyd reference while commentating on a live tournament, shortly after the incident occurred.
Most recent shitshow (8 months ago) was Reverge(the reformed dev team after Lab Zero shut down) censoring their own art. This includes:

• Removing scenes such as a black guy being beaten by cops because it reminds retards of Saint George Floyd
• Removing arm bands from an army of background characters because it reminds retards of fascism and nazis (That was the point)
• Patching the official artbook to edit skirt lengths and cleavages despite one of the main themes is to make sexualised characters. (Art of the game was made by a hentai animator Zone). This is a DLC product people paid for.
• Removing the russian voice pack that people paid for. This was Mike Zaimonts caricature of a russian accent and mannerisms.

Devs down play it as "cleaning house". People were pissed that paid content was being censored. Oddly, a noticeable pro censorship sentiment emerged on the Skullgirls subreddit. They didn't have an actual argument on the matter. They just called anyone who complained a pedophile/you're not a real SG player/you're opinion isn't valid because you didn't play enough of the game.

I looked at a video of the character creation and honorifics seem to work similarly. Even if your portrait is a male, you can have the game address you as ma'am.

It's useful if the list doesn't get filled with trash and sticks to notable games, not just some obscure itch.io game about being a tranny that nobody ever heard of and is obvious at a glance anyway.

Anita Sarkisian worked on it. It was one of the first major examples of woke shit in games, and when gaming really started down hill. Also killed Mass Effect because the story was garbage, AI was fucking stupid, and the sex scenes were porn tier.

Certifiably anti-woke game: Factorio. You crash land on an alien planet, and you exploit the planet's resources with your pollution-spewing machinery while mowing down the ugly, unsophisticated, destructive brown locals with machine gun turrets.

No gender lecturing, and the only "woke-ish" message is that pollution is bad, if only because it makes the aliens more aggressive. But that can be compensated for with more artillery batteries and turrets.

Also, the head developer is unrepentantly based.
