I just don't know what J is even going to get from top surgery. I do think that a lot of the smallfats who go through with the surgery genuinely want to be seen as male in day to day life and feel like the biggest inhibition to that is their breasts, and that's worth it even if they know the results look like shit. But at J's size you're utterly genderless, lobbing the tits off is not going to have any impact on how people interpret you gender-wise. I refuse to believe J could have any type of chest dysphoria at that size, either - as many have pointed out, a man that size would have just as big moobs. So what is actually gained by teet yeeting? It genuinely might just be to be able to say you're the fattest person who's ever gotten it.

I think she's just fucked in the head, room temp IQ at best, and Carissa has brainwashed her into thinking this will make her happy and change her life. It's speculation but I bet Carissa is trying to get a home care stipend out of it once J is bed bound post surgery.

I really think IF J is allowed surgery, she’s going to die on the table or shortly after. Heart issues due to fat, using T, stress of surgery.

Tinfoil hat: Corissa wants to get rid of J (we know they don’t bang and J mostly lives in the basement, can’t do a lot of life and self care stuff now, while Corissa is still more mobile and has lost some amount of weight). Encouraging the surgery allows her to virtue signal while knowing J probably won’t live too long even if she survives it. And if she does survive but has complications, she’ll end up in the hospital and may never be healthy enough again to live at home, or at least not with C, because she won’t help.

Or he is a sadist satisfying his fetish.
The medical professions, particularly surgeons, are notorious for attracting narcissts and psychopaths. It takes a very particular mindset for someone to want to make a living holding the literal power of life and death in their hands. Sadists are unfortunately attracted to medicine for exactly the same reason that pyromaniacs are attracted to fire fighting. Doctors are supposed to save lives, but the numbers of negligent or malevolent individuals among their ranks is significant. There are very few people in the world who can tell you that they've never had a bad experience receiving healthcare.

Even if J does survive the surgery, I guarantee you that at her weight, she WILL experience some type of wound dehiscence (separation). All the surgeon will advise her to do is put Vaseline or Aquafor on it, slap some gauze on top, maybe medical tape to hold it in place, and that’s it. There are other risks, too - her BMI puts her at significant risk for hematoma, even if Dr. Mosser uses drains. Either way, I don’t foresee her having a smooth recovery. She is going to be in pain and there will probably be complications. A profoundly stupid decision on her part.

There's no way he isn't planning on using drains; that'd be crazy at half J's weight. There is the option for using negative pressure over an incision to forestall dehiscence; 3M spun off the Prevena VAC just for incisional NPWT.

J is the walking dead at this point, but Corissa will profit greatly from this. Travel and lodging are paid, and J is handing her months of interesting blog fodder. Clothing hauls are samey, reacting to someone's Internet transgression takes a second, absolutely everyone is posting about Palestine (until they'll all stop at the same time).

Corissa will get to talk about witnessing the usual "trans joy," with the bariatric aspect making it stand out in 2024. (Getting there, J gets to actually comfyfattravel for the first time in a while, so there's sure to have some free outrage posting on the way.)

At the hospital, everything will be either amazing or terrible. Will they remember J's pronouns and Corissa's relationship status? Will they have planned for XXXXL post-op binders? (Abdominal binders get pretty big, so they might just use those and Corissa will never know that staff was so thoughtful/she missed complaining about the standard flower-print post-mastectomy binders.)

There's always interest in post-op logistics, especially when you add weight. How will J bathe, did they plan their lodging around mobility--can she get up to and down from the bed, with her arms out of the picture? Did they plan to rent a bed trapeze on-site? Will they show bloody dressings (after a warning) or be coy?

And then there's a whole rabbit hole to go down when J decompensates. They're not married--I'm not sure if they're legally heterosexual, but either way, better people did a lot of work to allow them to be married, and they haven't bothered. Will J have thought of signing anything to nominate Corissa as her legal PoA if she's vented and unresponsive, or will her belief in her own exceptionalism make her overlook it? J's family is not likely to call across state lines and demand Corissa be ejected from an ICU room, but if Corissa can't legally make decisions about J's treatment while she's right there, that will rankle. I don't know how much they truly care for each other, and I don't think Corissa will have any real arguments about decisions, but if all decisions have to go over the phone to J's mom, that's not Corissa.

Or everything could go fine. I'm sure it will.

So J is complaining about engagement. She made a new account changed her name and banned a bunch of people randomly either by accident or on purpose. Gee...wonder why shes having engagement issues.

Hey from this lesbian, JULIE--ANNA 🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕

There. Gave you a whole flock of these. Share it with clammy Corissa.

I think she's just fucked in the head, room temp IQ at best,
Agree.

and Carissa has brainwashed her into thinking this will make her happy and change her life.
Disagree. Juliana was a self-loathing headcase, fully indoctrinated into SocJus/Genderborg nonsense well before she'd even heard of Corissa. And of the two, she's the one who managed to scrape by well enough in college to get a degree, which is in Social Work, which, as a field, has been pretty much a pinko-commie hive vagina since its inception.

If either of them has indoctrinated the other into any ideology, it's gone from Juliana to Corissa, not the other way around, because Juliana's the one who had to read and regurgitate theory in college.

I mean, just look at which one of them is being the obsessive drooling retard over Palestine, while the other saw a money-making opportunity that let her clear out some deadstock supersized crop-tops and claim a charitable contribution paid with other people's money.

It's speculation but I bet Carissa is trying to get a home care stipend out of it once J is bed bound post surgery.
I disagree. She'd actually have to do that home care, and I don't believe for a moment that Corissa, when push comes to shove, would be willing to do that. Nor is she physically capable of providing adequate home care for somebody Juliana's size.

If Juliana requires ongoing care, she's going to end up either offloaded onto her mom, or in a nursing facility. I've been saying that for a long time, and have seen nothing to change my mind.

I really think IF J is allowed surgery, she’s going to die on the table or shortly after. Heart issues due to fat, using T, stress of surgery.
My prediction? Assuming she actually has the surgery at all? She'll survive, and she'll make it home. But undergoing major surgery, and removing such a large amount of tissue, is rough on the body, and the sicker you are, the rougher it is, and the harder it is to bounce back. Further reducing her already-dwindling mobility is not going to help her in the slightest.

And then there's the potential for post-op complications, which—Jesus. This is such a terrible idea. But hey, it's her funeral.

Tinfoil hat: Corissa wants to get rid of J (we know they don’t bang and J mostly lives in the basement, can’t do a lot of life and self care stuff now, while Corissa is still more mobile and has lost some amount of weight). Honestly, I just think they're both so thoroughly brainwashed into believing in the validity of both gender and FatLib ideologies, they are completely incapable of seeing any reason or heeding any warnings regarding Juliana's use of testosterone, or her desire to pursue an elective bilateral mastectomy.

I mean, these are women who think that being refused any sort of medical procedure based upon BMI is solely due to either malice or incompetence on the part of medical science and health care providers. They willfully deny every last bit in the mountain of evidence that being obese is bad for you (or that excess testosterone has dire effects upon women's health). But the second they find a doctor willing to do their bidding (prescribe the T, do the surgery, not weigh them or mention weight loss no matter what fat-consequence health issues they present with), that MD's a hero.

This is not how reasonably sane people think. This is how people who have completely abandoned critical thought, in favor of ideologies that support them in their chronic sense of grievance and entitlement as they willfully self-destruct, think. Their ideological loyalty, and dogged adherence to "correct" ideology at the expense of reality, is pathological.

Gallagher avoids being sued for malpractice by not carrying malpractice insurance, because no lawyers will take the case if they don't expect to be paid, but this guy doesn't seem quite as sleazy.
Is that even legal in the US? Here in Australia, doctors must have malpractice insurance to remain registered, and we don’t even have the “anything goes wrong and you sue” mentality that the US seems to have.

Each state sets its own rules and in Florida, where Sneed practices, the only requirement is that she has to disclose being uninsured to would-be patients. She also needs to put some amount of money aside in escrow but that is academic since it's not guaranteed to pay out the way malpractice insurance is in the event of a settlement or trial finding in the patient's favor.

To your comment about the "anything goes and we sue" mindset, laws like Florida's were (supposedly, I would be shocked if the medical industry didn't push for the law) passed to push back against that mindset and plaintiffs' lawyers to let doctors pursue novel or low-cost or experimental treatments without the burden of malpractice premiums or risk of a ruinous judgment (malpractice insurance has limits and premiums are adjusted based on previous payouts). Even if these laws did work as intended and protected high-risk but medically defensible treatments, they were necessarily going to attract quacks like Sneed as well because they make no distinction between meritorious and frivolous malpractice claims.

Any resemblance this has to the legal version of the Wild West or Dr. Frankenstein is purely coincidental.

J has put the deposit down for surgery. It is in October and she thinks her post op will only be 10 days.

J also reposted a picture which I missed the first time that for the pants to fit her she had to remove the string and elastic.

I guess Corissa couldn't get that other strap fastened for those ugly overalls. She just looks so bad in everything, brands are crazy to send her stuff. Her belly is as big as J's.

Eta: I was curious about this brand's sizing so I looked. Their clothes go up to a 4X which is a 22/24. Corissa is at least a 26/28, even bigger in stuff without stretch.

J being a Trump supporter is not something I had on my 2024 bingo card...or she doesn't understand how voting and numbers work. If you don't vote against Trump, then that means he wins and you essentially 'supported' him. I hate both candidates, but a Trump presidency will result in a lot of lolcow content about fake genocides and fake oppression.

I'm sorry, did I miss where Trump said he's going to end the war in Palestine?? He's pro Israel to the ground and always has been.

What a weird fake conundrum for these people. Why do they automatically assume that because the Dems do one thing, the Reps automatically do the other? That's not always, of even usually, the case.

- surgery cancelled last second. Juliana ends up fused to a couch because she ate herself into a bedbound state after going on a weeklong Taco Bell binge. Corissa discovers that she died three days after the fact because Juliana was already immobile and smelled like death. Kelly and all the other FAs that donated to the yeet fund claim the doctor killed her for not providing critical life saving care. The house mysteriously burns down with Juliana still in it. Coco collects and blows it all on several clothing hauls and a new couch. The show must go on!
- Juliana outlives us all, like some kind of mirror universe Ashley Isaacs.
