Yup. From what I've read it was Tag der Ehre, which I believe is a memorial day of a WW2 battle inside Budapest. So to celebrate the occasion the antifas went out to town to look for trouble, they found a tobacco shop clerk who was literally about to open up the store who wore camo cargo pants and black boots and just beat on him for a while with police batons (the expendable ones) and sprayed the guy on the ground with like half a gallon of pepper spray.
Apparently 90% of the group wasn't even hungarian, they legit just went over from Germany and Italy to an eastern european shithole to cause trouble full and well knowing they are going to end up in a gypsy rape dungeon. Fuck around and find out I guess.

Something I've always found amusing is how Antifa is like a perfect 50/50 split between unemployed drug addicts and well off trust fund kids. I specifically remember during the "stop cop city" shit one of the guys who was charged was an ACLU or SPLC lawyer. You have the well off mid to late 20s college graduates who were radicalized by higher education and the opportunist "anarchist" tweakers who really just want to act out their antisocial tendencies while pretending it's activism.

They are probably banking on being extradited to Germany / Italy, and being released with a slap on the wrist thanks to a sympathetic local judge and an NGO lawyer doing the "you see, your honor, it happened in a fascist country, so it doesn't count" defense. They'd definitely get away with group assault on some random guy.
