It was a pro se lolsuit, which was one of the initial signs that there were troubles in Vicker's coin empire. Along with Faith representing herself and presenting her case as the documents speak for themselves or whatever.

Even now, the MORE I think about it Vickers is even dumber than Ralph for his debt maxing. If you take Ralph he's living in Mexico, his two kids are off getting taken care of by Harry and presumably Vickers and he assumes he's going to be alive for 10 more years tops. Vickers though. Vickers had a lot to lose. He had a business he owned, a house he owned, multiple children who have nothing to do with Faith (who I would resent forever if I were them), a wife. I am trying to run down the situation, but unfortunately most of what is left is from kinogay. Vickers and it appears many of the accounts he was warring with are gone or I am unable to find them. I remember he was feuding with KOP and a number of others. I definitely remember Genius Anus and the Disneyland debacle. It is unbelievable Vickers was wasting time with this shit rather than trying to save his marriage or solve his financial problems. Surely there was another coin shop out there for him to steal. I recall @Null perhaps streaming about Vickers stealing his coin shop around this time.

Shame how much is lost with suspensions.

How the hell does suing a broke ass like Ralph get him anything? Pawpaw’s $59 ring? Ralph’s got no money, all Vickers did was waste money on an attorney to sue broke ass Ralph. A judgement of $5k ain’t going to help matters. Even if some magical judge ordered Gunt to pay Vickers a million dollars Vickers would never see a dime, all he would have is attorneys fee to pay himself if he got any judgment against Ralph.

I don’t know. he may have thought Ralph had more than he does or not realized how expensive and slow these court cases are. Ralph, according to Vickers at the time, had always made all his $800/month child support payments on time. Ralph made 6 figures last year. Vickers may not have bought the whole “Ralph is broke,” mantra that the alogs constantly repeat.
Also, yall say the ring is worth $59, but I remember Vickers kept tweeting about wanting the ring that he thought was worth considerably more than $59. He subtweeted to Ralph that he wants him to get the ring appraised and if he likes what it’s worth, he’ll consider accepting it as a settlement. I dont recall exactly when this was, but it was sometime in the fall 2023, so at least a few months after they received the notice of default on their house mortgage. By that point, certainly Vickers had to be aware he was in financial trouble.
Also, Ralph was served with the lawsuit in July, at the airport, as he landed in Florida for the Fuentes rally. This is 1 month after Vickers defaulted on their mortgage and this was right before Ralph left Cozy (where he was making more $ than he does now). IDK when Vickers filed, but if it was anytime after he defaulted in June, that would also lend credence to my theory that this was motivated by his severe financial issues. EDIT: Vickers filed the defamation lawsuit on June 22, right after the mortgage default, despite the incident he says is defamation occurring in March.

His defamation attorney may be a contingency lawyer, as in, you don’t have to pay unless or until you win the case. If he’s not a contingency, i find it unbelievable Vickers would rather spend money on attorney fees rather than make the mortgage payment to his house. That makes no sense to me, who would do that?

If I were her (immediate) family member, I'd  never fucking forgive Faith for linking Ethan Ralph to our family for as long as Xander (or Ethan) lives.
