This is exactly it. EVS holds most people in contempt. When he left the High Council, he had a stream where he shat all over his former co-hosts. He's done this repeatedly over the years (like the way he mocked Liam for years and now pretends they're friends). Like you said, most people and shows only exist to further his ends.

It's a bit of a wonder this didn't happen sooner. It feels like it easily could have. July really didn't have to do much to shake things up. Only put out a product on-time that sold really well. It didn't even have to be particuarly good.

I imagine Iconic didn't have the same effect as Rippaverse because Iconic was mainly courting the weeb audience that is less interested in America style comic books to begin with.

Coom qualified 35th, 2.75 seconds off the fastest lap, about 12mph slower than the fastest.


The race is broadcast on FS1 and streams on the Fox Sports app at 8pm EST. I'll post a restream if I can find one or if someone beats me to it.

35th out of 41. So not the absolute worst, but hardly great either. He's on the grid, but let's see how he'll finish, or if he'll even finish at all.

In a way, the computers and advanced technology are a big part of the problem behind CG.

Why make a comic when you can just fire up a livestream and make money off braindead idiots by bitching about dangerhairs for hours at a time, and otherwise telling them exactly what they want to hear? It's a hell of a lot less effort. Ethan has little incentive to put out comics in a reasonable amount of time as long as he has paypigs who will pay to hear him preach.

Web comics are a very specific genre, which is to say Tumblr Manga. 99.9% of the people in the scene don't make that crap because it's not we like or read. The advantage, of course, is that those creators don't have to worry about printing and shipping. Trust me, we would put our shit on WeebToon if we thought we'd have an audience there.
 
Camelot's race team put up a facebook post saying that he did not qualify.

There was some sort of special aspect to the race where he also couldn't get in through car owner points because of how the provisional slots were given out to two different organizations.

The team said the rules were:

32 get in by time
4 provisional in ARCA main
4 provisional in ARCA west

I have to remind the faggots still in CG that Miura distracted by Idolm@ster and suffering from heart disease managed to release more chapters over 5 years (2015 - 2020, the period where he can still draw and the heart condition wasnt really that bad yet) than any of the CG comics faggots.
