Best I can think of is anchoring the string somewhere and attaching it to a pencil with a 90* guide to keep it from tilting, but that's a hard thing to calculate, more for free balling it.

Oh shit, that bottom jig looks pretty good, I'll have to remember that. I'm a carpenter, not a "woodworker", so I don't really deal with jigs and stuff since it's mostly 2x4s and shit with straight edges.
The best way to do that ball would be some really really thick resin so hopefully the glitter doesn't settle out, but really the way to do this stuff is find a place with a wood lathe. His effort was wack during the whole thing, since he could have easily calculated how much silicone he would have needed in order to buy in bulk and buy enough, and make a better box so you don't have a paper thin flap of rubber that'll totally not make your ball fucked up.

At the start of the video he expressed how much he wants to emulate the arcade cabinets and showed enthusiasm, sadly it didn't translate well into his work and has missed so much small little details like his obsession with the glittery resin and not realizing there's an LED on the original cabinet. It's so unintentionally insulting to Anisa and it's hilarious. There's subtle signs that Anisa is pissed off by it if you look at her facial expression. Considering what he says ("to the untrained eye, it's hard to tell how much you shave"), the idea that they don't have sex or at least don't anymore is a distinct possibility as well that we must consider. Ian does seem like he's pathetic enough that she constantly teases him and never actually delivers on anything, yet it's enough to satisfy him.
