Dragon Ball is the great equaliser of the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Like others have said previously: its appeal transcended language and cultural barriers. It's always so fucking endearing to me whenever I see weebs from other countries because we'd have such wildly different exposure to shit, yet we could always bond over Dragon Ball. I never even realised just how deep the international Dragon Ball rabbit hole went until fairly recently. There's a fucking Ocean vs Funimation style beef happening in almost every language that Dragon Ball's ever been dubbed in.

I can 100% understand not liking his shit like associating with troons and other crap, but to 100% discount him is a bit foolish imo.
