Games you have to 100% if you're replaying it - When just getting to the end isn't enough

For me, it's Just Cause 2, peak game in the series dare I say.

I mean holy shit just look at the bases, and other objectives you can destroy on the map.

I usually 100% Super Mario World if I'm replaying it again. Usually 100%ing a game requires some unbelievable bullshit that you can do with enough time.

Burnout 3. it takes just a bit over 20 hours for 100% completion and it's fun all the way through
This, when you sink back in and you feel that instant hit of easy to pick up and lifetime to master that hooked you the second you smacked someone into a wall. It's always been arcade perfection. I still to this day argue that their is no better arcade racer all things considered.

Mario 64
Bully (the only open world game that isnt larger than the content on offer)

i've never 100%'d a zelda game, there's just too much in those thats completely unnecessary and hidden in obtuse ways.

Whenever I replay Mass Effect I can't stop myself from completing every mission, even the lame ones.

  • Sonic 1/2/3k/3dblast/R/Drift2/TripleTrouble/Mania
  • Spyro 1/2/3
  • Crash 1 & 2
  • Klonoa PS1
  • Rayman 1
  • Dynamite Headdy (getting the 4 bonus numbers for the secret code for the secret ending)
  • Mario Advanced 1 & 2 (getting all 5 yellow coins in each stage)
  • Mutant Mudds 1 and 2
  • ToeJam & Earl 2
  • WarioWare 1 (getting all the flowers)
  • MarioKart 64 (also 7 and 8 ) - Getting all gold trophies on all courses on all difficulties.
Thats off the top of my head.

im gonna say ps4 spiderman for the simple fact it is the only game i 100%ed without trying, and i did it in a single weekend.

so youd basically have to be braindead not to

I can't think of one... I typically go for 100% if I replay MMX but it's not by any means a necessity for me.

If Pokemon gen 1 & 2 get added to NSO, then I'll get 100% for both (only did it once for gen 1, minus Mew; never 100%'d gen 2).

Does it count when the 100% is for actual game content rather than pointless leaderboards or useless money/items? Modern gaming is filled with zero effort quests that sometimes are auto generated.

Yo what the fuck you got against Warped?
Never played it, that's why.

Last "latest" Crash i played was the PS2 one (I think it was called Warped), and outside of the loading being fucking atrocious, it didn't really tickle me as much as the PS1 games. Hell, the GBA game(s) entertained me more, although i never liked Time Attack modes in games.

Yeah it counts. A lot of the stuff I like to 100% unlocks extra levels and shit like that anyway.

That sounds like you played Wrath of Cortex. If I had to describe it, it's Warped if it was mediocre. Not a bad addition to franchise, but man is it a slog to go through and those load times are notorious.

That was indeed Wrath of Cortex you played, not Warped. Warped was the 3rd game on playstation 1 and the last true Crash game, not counting CTR and Crash Bash.

I'm jealous you still have one of them left to experience, you should check it out if you liked 1 and 2.
