You know the funny part is, you say that...but you do. Have you ever done your own cooking? The average home cook has a rough estimate of around 10-20 meals on rotation they make when they typically cook and that's it. Out of the thousands of different recipes you have access to, most people settle on only a handful. Only sparsely do they venture out of that comfort zone. Humans are not psychologically geared to have hundreds of choices. Thats why people typically order the same things when they go to restaurants.

People always SAY they want choice, but the reality is, they like the ability to feel like they have choice. It's a comfort. It's not a necessity.

I've only personally known of a single community that got a hard ban, and that was for sexually creepy and iirc illegal behavior. Their anti harassment policy might be able to do it, but knowing what valve has been largely fine with allowing, you'd probably have to be involved in phishing or similarly disruptive activity to have community targeting actions placed.

What I'm ultimately saying is having a library of hundreds of games you never played makes you a consoomer whore because choice ultimately doesn't matter. You're going to wind up playing mostly the same types of games forever and that's it.

I mostly stick to the same types of games, and if you really examine your behavior, you'll find out you only stick to certain games too.
