I just checked the steam group page before catching up on things. The guy running it has apparently been pretty involved and speaking with Steam Moderators, making sure they're 100% within ToS. He had to delete some discussion threads but those weren't doing much anyways. Considering that this group is doing nothing other than just saying "This group had a hand in its production" they're not really doing anything to violate ToS. Retards also jumped the gun too fast because now steam is aware that it's been getting mass reported for no reason, all the while the guy running it is more than happy to make sure it stays in line with ToS.steam is one of the few platforms that i do not expect to do harsh crackdowns on this
maybe i'm wrong, but so far valve has taken a very hands off laissez-faire approach to steam community features
As it currently stands you're right on the money. There's no real way to ban it atm.
Guy running it was pretty smart going the route he did.
Edit:
It frustrates me that we can boil it down to this level of direct simplicity—and troons will just go "the hobby is problematic and needs to change!" rather than having a shred of self awareness about them, or finding another hobby.I love this meme so much when it comes to explaining gatekeeping.
They are cultural locusts. They want in on whatever is big and popular. They won't make their own space because that means you can ignore them, and thus their endless thirst for attention isn't satiated.
