They are the worst people, as a group, and individually, I have ever had anything to do with. I have spent almost all of my adult life trying to spread the word about these monsters and get them locked up or otherwise put where they belong, 20 years now. My entire framing of the world has been stained and shat on and fucked by these people, what they have gotten away with, and indeed the apathy of the average person, up to now, has made me have a very hard time respecting or hanging out with most people.

Her parents opted to have her taken from the home blindfolded in the night by strangers, which, even if you are going to send your “problem” child to a boarding program, is crazy, and I don’t know how they couldn't at least see that aspect then. All I have said about this topic before:

Watched her documentary as it was premiering. (It was premiering when I wrote this post.) I mean, it's true that the boarding school she went to (Provo Canyon) does indeed have a reputation for being abusive, and 12 years ago, I did read about schools supposed to straighten up troubled or rebellious teens and winding up abusing them instead (but the one I read about was totally different, it was fundamentalist, the one Paris went to was secular), but I am on the fence about whether the bimbo act was completely a lie/defense mechanism. It's a touching narrative, but I am, as I said, on the fence, because when gossip outlets leak audio or video of her, it's of her acting exactly like the bimbo she publicly acts as. Also, when the Bling Ring stole from her, they said that her bedroom was all pink and girly and filled with pictures of herself. So overall, I left feeling touched, but also wondering if I was being manipulated.

As someone who read some article 14 years ago about some religious boarding school that was meant for rebellious teens and was supposed to straighten them up but abused them instead, I did find this to be believable. What did strike me as less believable though was this idea which she espoused in her YouTube documentary that she was this deep thinker that was pretending to be a bimbo because of her boarding school trauma. I feel that if this were true, then all of the home videos, photos, and diaries that were stolen from her storage locker and then later posted on the Internet would show proof of that, but they don't.
