As horrible as it is that Kim and Dalton were able to adopt this dog, it makes it even funnier to me that Stephanie Cianfriglia has been denied a cat by multiple shelters. While Stephanie has absolutely no business owning a pet, she is a better pet owner than Kim and Dalton ever could be. The fuck was Jacksonville Animal Services even thinking? Did they even ask questions, like 'are you employed?' or 'do you know what a veterinarian is?'.

On the other hand, I've known a handful of dogs that look like this one and they're the sweetest little things. I'm at least happy that Aidean has a friend.

Looks like a Heeler mix, so definitely more intelligent then Kim and Dalton. Also more loyal, and loving. I wish Aidean and puppy were in a better situation.

Will the dog poop all over the floor? Will anyone clean it up by Christmas time?

While I’m happy that Aidean has a friend, I’m not confident in how long lasting the situation will be & it is almost more cruel to give him the dog only to have him lose it.
Dog food isn’t cheap, nor are vet bills (being real, K & D would let it die, come to that). Also, not sure nuzzling up to an animal fresh from the shelter is the best thing for Aidean’s surgery wound. Probably no worse than the unwashed state of his pillow & bedding though.

She was on their do lot adopt list and got taken off?! The plot curdles.

I wonder if they got a dog exactly because they own handle in the Walmart parking lot all day and know a dog inspires pity.

I’m no neghole pozzer, but it sure is tempting to think about what the people in the FB post know about them. Maybe one will give more details.

I have a feeling they adopt puppies and return them when they grow up.

Aw, hell. If that IS a heeler/heeler mix of some kind, that dog is not going to last. Herding dogs need a lot of mental stimulation and physical stimulation and we all know that poor pup is not going to be getting ANY of that from K & D and if they don't they start destroying things and becoming utter nuisances because they're bored. Herding dogs are NOT dogs that should be in a situation like that so they're setting that poor girl up for failure from the absolute get-go and it's irresponsible of the shelter to adopt one out like that.

The only way that might be curtailed is if that dog is mixed with something that's more of a couch potato or exceptionally chill since we all know she won't get any kind of even basic training.
