Apparently, the Soska's did a little Yaira intro/movie. One of the benchmarks is a live action movie too. And Graham Nolan did one of the covers. Will be interesting to see if EVS reacts to that.

EVS could have got off his cowardly chapped ass and actually laid the foundation of a comic publishing company to compete with the mainstream companies. He had the credibility (which is now at a all time low), he probably had some celebrity left to promote a CG publishing company.
He rather not stick his non existent neck out, bitch for hours on stream, and engorge himself on vanity and lard. No wonder EVS defended George R. R. Martin because he took the insults to his late books personally.
Maybe at this point, his ego doesn't allow him to do anything like that because he would fear being seen as imitating Iconic Comics?

You really bringing up imitating when cg's top dawg is a ripoff of tmnt? Cecil basically took Don deluise's likeness from cannon ball run. None of comicsgates books are original.

The campaign technically ended back in August, but it's still open so people can buy from it. Does he get his $500,000 then or will it be held until it finally gets fulfilled in 2026?
I think he's able to pull the money out once he ends the campaign and goes into demand. He ended the campaign early after 30 days instead of going another 30 days and then going into demand. Vielned (CG orbiter) asked EVS why he ended the campaign early and he said "May as well get the money and start paying people sooner." LINK

This was around the same time Matt Martin announced that they had found a printer for Snowman. I had thought that he needed the money fulfill the Snowman campaign, but now we're 7 months later and still no progress. Maybe the money went to his creditors.

Hmm, apparently EVS blocked me. I never interact with him either. Maybe he didn't like me replying to someone about doggirl.

That's weird. Perhaps this was before he found out printing was higher than expected. Someone in a YouTube comment mentioned that he said it's finally going to the printers. But who knows if there is actual follow through. Plus, I still don't understand why he can't update the IGG page. Expecting people to pay attention on Twitter or watch hour long streams to maybe catch an update is a tad ridiculous.

I'm trying to find the screencap of EVS' tweets posted here not long ago where EVS says he can't have them printed because it cost too much and came across this GEM!

Snowman raised $158k and he still can't afford $12k to have it printed: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/snowman-a-cold-day-in-hell--2#/

EDIT: found the caps, these were tweeted in Oct. 2023

"What the fuck?! Did this uppity nigger use our jokes against himself?! Doesn't that BLACK FAGGOT know only we can do that with our shitty covers and streams!? Fuck this makes me so mad, I'll be seeing you all on Trashcast #261 where I will NEED your superberries to PWN that fucking nigger!" - EVS probably

If you genuinely thought July was a quality lolcow you would be posting funny and embarrassing things he does for the thread’s entertainment. Just getting angry that other posters aren’t making fun of him for you is incredibly counterproductive.
I don't think he, or anybody, has anything on July on the same level as the shit Dick, Vito, Rekieta et al have been doing, and I think he knows it.

He has no idea what he's doing.
Well, alrighty then.

Honestly Motts, if your argument here is he's not doing things the "Comicsgate way," you'll get no argument from me.

Is there a chance Martin hasn't been paid? Or would that be a bonus?

It's weird though. He's talking about the $15 one, but not the $25 ones. So were the $25 printing costs fine? Or were they also $6? Because doing a quick count, there are roughly 4100 books sold ($15/$25 versions). So, say he'll get 5,000 printed to account for damaged copies and extras for this or that. Even at a worst case of $10 a book, he'd be looking at $50,000. Maybe tack on another $10,000 or $20,000 for shipping costs (labels and supplies). He's looking at $70,000. Plenty of money left over to pay Martin and to pay himself. Particularly when all EVS is really doing is promoting and print/fulfillment.

He can always justify making a wanna-be tmnt to himself by saying it's an homage or inspired by it.

Didn't even the evil (evil because he is a superior artist to EVS)"dirtworm doug" tell him how to do it, but he simply refused?
I think the difference is that he got told by many people to do what Iconic Comics ended up doing, so it's more personal.
And his stance was that what Tim was doing was a stupid idea doomed to fail.
It's not that he would copy someone else that's the problem, it's that he would have to admit that he was wrong.

I think he doesn't really want to do comics, he want's to be a youtube grifter full time and get superberries for being the amazing EVS.

Maybe, maybe maybe?

EDIT: I don't know why I uploaded a video and only audio came out?

Here's a catbox link to the video. My apologies.
One can only hope things escalate to gun violence.
Imagine Vito getting shot dead in a rippaverse fanatic drive by, now that would be amazing.

The campaign raised $158k and EVS is on record estimating Matt's payout to be around $50k (maybe $77k if it's 50%). That should've left $77,000-108,000 to print and fulfill along with EVS taking "his cut"? I'm no math wiz but ... where'd the money go? What's IGG's cut off the top?

Correct.
