In one post minding your own business terrifies the left, in the other it is a short sighted tactic that has given the left leeway to ruin the fucking planet.
Not really. If you've ever listened to MATI and done a little research on these things, the Left doesn't really control much. They like to let the world think that they do, but in reality they don't. That's the trick. Remember, again, whenever Null has ever had any direct engagement with these faggots, he does so legally and within the bounds of the systems in place. And the Left always steps out of bounds. Always. Null has studied copyright law for these reasons. He tells people to engage in malicious compliance for these reasons. Essentially, it's about being smart. You never start a revolution, you just work within the systems that are in place.
Now, look at where we are in the GamerGate sphere. We're just product consumers. We're fans of stuff that is being turned into shit. Is that frustrating? Yes. Do we like it? No. But going on "the attack" just makes us look like we're no better than the people who started this whole thing in the first place. Instead, the best thing you can do, as a video game consumer, is to stop buying AAA bullshit and be smart about what you buy in the future. This Steam Curator thing is just facilitating that end.
Here's an analogy.:
AAA is a luxury cruiser. You notice a leak.
You tell the staff. They say it's fine.
Leak gets worse. Water is rising.
You tell the staff. They say it's fine.
Leak gets even worse. You're up to your waist in water. Everything is soaked.
You tell the staff. You screech and holler at them. They tell you to shut up and stop noticing stuff like that.
You abandon ship for a dingy. It's not as fancy as the cruiser, but at least it isn't leaking.
Later on, people on the cruiser mock your dingy, saying it's cheap and small.
Yes, cheap and small...but at least it's not rapidly sinking.
Now, do you respond to the insults?
Do you rush back aboard the cruiser and try to save it, disregarding the staff?
No. You sit back, relax, and point at the sinking ship, and laugh at everyone on board.
That's my way of seeing things.
