As I said they're not entitled to a full ride just because he's a parent. Most parents haven't paid for their kids college. Now it's another entitlement for dumb women who made bad choices.

Depending on circumstances, you may have to pay for College until the child is 23. This is true for both Canada and the United States. Not sure about UK and Europe. Personally, it's better to just have full custody of your children. You'll pay far less raising them than what the government will force out of you.

Contributing to their post-secondary education was the last hope he might finally impersonate a decent parent. He's chosen not to, and did so a) on short notice and b) without having the balls to alert me directly, instead telling a child and saying they need to figure it out on their own. He put them in the position of telling me. So yes I'm pissed as fuck, and yes he is a scumbag who mooched off of me (and others). But I'll take care of it.

You might've missed it, but I said a few times I work in a hospital which is like 85% female staffed. That's the main part of my job, cause I also (thank you God) get to leave to work with recovering athletes some daily. The amount of scheming and deviousness I witnessed could fill tomes and tomes and if I wrote them, it would triple the amount of misogyny on the planet.
During the pandemic we (mostly, until shit hit the fan) got a comfy tiny room where we stood in isolation almost all the time and rarely exited when there was a true need to see a patient. It was the calmest, most tranquil, most blessed time I spent in that hospital, even with wearing PPE for 8 hrs/day, sometimes in August's heatwave. Sadly, it all went away and I'm back to the estrogen daily bath.
