I don't see how this is supposed to correct the fact that the teachers who actually staff and work at these schools are all educated at liberal universities with progressive sensibilities. These people do not care about school boards or what they say, and will continue to teach regardless.
You fire them and hire retirees instead.

You’d be surprised how quickly a university can change tack when the students start revolting against a prog professor over lies told in class, which then lead to lawsuits. It is a different story when universities have to worry about being held liable for the brainwashing. You can’t give every student an “F” when they start writing papers that disagree with your worldview, after all.

Keep in mind there are a bunch of normie teachers who until 5 minutes ago would never have dared do any of this shit. The culture of degeneracy was pushed on them. They barely have minds of their own, push something else on them and they will go along. And fire the ones who don’t.

It is called winning by cutting them off at their source. The progressives use school life to inject their poison, so run the school boards to run the progressives out of those jobs. If you hold all Local offices, then you can start to get rid of the unelected trash that mess things up on the Local level. Then you can move up to State and finally the Federal gov’t.

It is going to be a long haul back to the good days. They aren’t saying trust the plan, they are saying to play the long game. If you let the unelected trash stick around, then you will never fix the country.

Our local Wizard is correct, but you need to think more long-term. Its doing exactly what the left did to get into this position, starting at the lowest level and subverting it to your cause. Then using that position to subvert any positions it can influence. Then spiderwebbing out from there to yet more positions. With the bonus of the fact these positions are -entirely undefended-.

The uniparty not only allowed the left to take these positions, it actively facilitated it. Focusing all its Right-wing efforts on the federal government., It is a big part of why "A Smaller Government" was always pushed as the right-wing ideal... and that smaller government only ever included the federal government, This let the Uniparty completely subsume the lower governments with no defense ever really pushed that wasn't one guy on a grassroots effort.

Now that it is being attacked systemically, they actually have to spend resources to defend it.

The shocker for me is that free insurance through work is a worse deal than cash. We don't need to stop abusing gig work for them benes, the upside to being direct hire is job security and that's pretty much it. And the rule of thumb is an employee costs double their pay. All I want is for them to give me that instead of an insurance company that's getting ripped off by the doctors in turn.
Funny how when there's a set of rules for how and what to pay that it gets gamed and everything goes to shit.
Tying health insurance to employment ad a benefit was a horrible idea from the 50s when employers were falling over each other to get talent. It backfired massively into an unending cash cow for the medical industry which grossly overinflates prices to pay for profit and admin positions. Same way student loans became crack cocaine for colleges.

People are so used to it, they don't realize how dumb it is. Imagine you lose your car insurance or homeowners/renters insurance if you get fired and the only option costs 4x what you were paying?

Of course the medical industry is so dependent on that money and would be gutted if they had to scale back, there's no easy fix to get out of this situation.

The trick is that it doesn't. Out of pocket cost for healthcare for me is MORE with my insurance than cash pay. No insurance is better than free for me at the moment. If I was on my own, I'd keep a cheap high deductible "holy shit I just got hit by a car" option.
It's crack to the insurance companies, not the employers. Maybe the employees since it's got such a mythic quality to it now, not because of the actual effect.

Sorry, School Union says no, you can't fire them and even if you do, the retirees aren't allowed to work.

Breaking the School Union is absolutely vital for the Right going forward, but god only knows how you're going to do it.
The Japanese method of making the workplace completely unbearable until everyone you don’t like quits is always an option.

Red states seem to be doing that already with things like vague anti-woke criminal/civil punishments and pride flag bans.

"Labor activists heralded the rule as an important development that might help the most financial unstable workers, including immigrants or people of color. Under the policy, the Labor Department can take action against companies that misclassify their workers."

Wouldn't be the washington post without shoehorning in some virtue signaling, somewhere.

Also this trending on Twitter? They're really trying hard to make the "Trump is a rapist" a thing now? Hilarious

No that's actually a great idea 1 of the few good ideas of Biden I can't tell you how many carpentry companies literally classify all of the employees is 1099 subcontractors just to get out of paying health insurance in overtime

Reactions: dry roasted
I mentioned this on the thread before, but Tulsi has some skeletons in her closet regarding her Dad's anti-gay political activism. I finally found a full version of the commercial that played back in 1998 here. I'm gonna link it here for lols. She's about 16 in this.

U.S. Gasoline Prices Rise for the Second Consecutive Week

How do you like dem prices bish
We've been manipulating gas prices for the last couple years by literally BossmanJack'ing the national oil reserve. Biden has been emptying the reserves by pushing oil onto the market during price increases to keep pump prices manageable, and they hope that gas prices naturally fall before they run out so they can refill the reserves. I believe this has happened twice and worked twice. The one time we try it and the price doesn't drop, or one of the foreign oil powers decides it's not going to drop, we run out of oil as a country. Those reserves are for national emergencies and war time, and we keep putting it all on black just trying to stay afloat.

We're on the brink of an oil crisis that will make Carter live to be 200. I was going to say roll in his grave but the bastard isn't dead yet. Nobody currently in charge is demanding we go back to energy independence as a solution. Even if you get Trump in 2024, are drilling companies going to want to invest their resources when 2026/28 could mean they get shut down again? We're really going to fuck ourselves with this one.

The inability of the US to have any sort of long-term planning is its most fatal weakness.
This is, unfortunately, a modern issue. So, standard policy up till about Clinton/Bush was to maintain the policies of the prior administration unless explicitly campaigned against or if it can be argued to fall under a larger, campaigned on, policy promise. Even if the current admin wasn't a fan they would maintain the policy to maintain confidence in the elected leadership.

This is one of the many casualties of polarized politics.

What the oil companies need to do is sue the EPA in a friendly court for illegally denying them permits and for Trump's DOJ to immediately settle with them and sign a consent decree promising that the government will never deny a permit for oil drilling on any US territory. This sort of sue-and-settle policy is how a lot of environmental "laws" have been created, so what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Either they'll be forced to respect the "binding agreement" or we can ignore every other "consent decree" that the left has ever made.

How about getting rid of the dumb personality and fake work tests in the job interview?
I worked for a firm that did these kinds of assessments. "HEY! Let us help you build the BEST. TEAM, EVA!"
A couple of years later, the firm split up. Because y'know, so good at team building.

One psych did the assessments for cops. It was always funny to see when a cop got in trouble to go back to their file to see what the doc said about the person. One dude would not leave; the doc came out and asked us to call security (and Doc did martial arts, I had a little crush on him ngl; once he asked me if I enjoyed "ethnically insensitive" jokes and we got along swimmingly thereafter. I miss the dude honestly).

Plus: they hired ME after all those fancy tests so there ya go.

I commented earlier on the last place I tried to work for and their insane kindergarden-esque one-hour mandatory "sensitivity" training for a WORK FROM HOME job that was to last all of two months. I did not continue with the training, got paid for the day, and shipped the 4 BOXES of computer shit they sent me (to combine and rename PDF files, that's it, that was the job) back to them on their dime. Like, why do I need TWO huge monitors for this one task? Can I not just, uh, use the laptop?

Also in re: the "training," they wanted us to rate the company on how well they handled "questionable" behavior - like asking a co-worker whose daughter is having a quinceanera if they are gonna have tacos (DUDE, STOP. THAT'S GETTING CLOSE TO ORANGE BEHAVIOR!) - and I am like, "how do I know? I am being trained and won't ever see my coworkers!" I think they just wanted their feedback scores to go up so they can brag about how DEI they are. In retrospect I should have marked all scenarios as Green behavior and said NO when they asked if the company was doing a good job in that area. Like, harassing women is A-OK and the company does NOT do anything about it hahahahohoho

I could start assessing for a job that rates the quality of web searches and just fuck shit up for funsies but meh.
