I will say that one good thing to come out of this is that the site has been fast. That's as much consolation as removing posting altogether and saying things improved because the site is super fast now, but I'll take not being stuck for 2 minutes trying to post in a thread. So no, I don't know why it's slow for you.

I've had the site occasionally lock up for for around 5 seconds at times over the last evening and today but whatever is causing that quickly goes away.
