Bill Clinton continued Bush Sr.'s ban on Haitian immigration, despite actively campaigning on overturning it. Just too many drug smuggling gangs coming in at the time and too much AIDS. No reason we can't reinstate the old bans now. Clinton had Coast Guard vessels capturing Haitians at sea and returning them to Haiti.

I've used watered down dish soap in a spray bottle in a pinch as a leak detecting substance on gas fittings for water heaters before after running out of the specially formulated stuff, but Jesus tapdancing Christ. There's a massive difference between using that trick on gas fittings that have a low pressure differential between the interior and exterior (and if there is a problem you usually just need to tighten the fittings) where the gas even has hydrogen sulfide added to it so that you can smell if it's leaking and using that trick ON A FUCKING PRESSURE VESSEL.

Kennedy was briefed in on the Bay of Pigs plans back during the Eisenhower admin. He was well aware of what was planned, and he decided to make last-minute changes about air support that arguably doomed the whole thing, no one else. None of it was done behind his back, he was regularly briefed. The Castro assassination stuff, yes, Bay of Pigs, no.

The good news is that the Senate could be in favor of R's. Manchin and Sinema are retiring. Jon Tester in Montana and Sherrod Brown in Ohio are vulnerable. Mitt Romney will get replaced by another Mormon, and one in Nevada could be up for grabs.
The most vulnerable Republican seatz AFAIK are Ted Cruz and maybe Josh Hawley.

If the house shifts and prevents Trump from running many people will just not vote. No amount of begging the GOP does will change that. Baris has shown this in many polls. Trump voters are driving the vote and they just won't vote if he isn't on the ticket.

So, let me guess. The Washington establishment came to the realization that Trump might be able to beat the fraud despite all the organization they have planned. So, in order to cement the steal, they want to get enough RINOs to leave their seat so that one of two things happen,
A) Trump is legally barred from showing up in the general election
B) Democrats will deny Trump his electorate
