I just don't understand why Sargon abandoned his main channel and doing his weekly This Week in Stupid show. He abandoned his consistent format and his channel which was his whole brand and went off to fucks knows where then comes back to do some shitty podcast with some retards I've never heard of to make boring as fuck content. Was he just a lazy cunt? was he bored? did the critics get to him? does he ach-ually think he is making a change and isn't a fucking clown like everyone else? I assume yes for everything but the last.

He does still believe he's making a difference, when you hear about him talking about Jim with the Distributist a few months ago he frames Jim as being irrelevant because he wasn't political enough.

Pretty sure it's because he got bored of the show, he wanted to engage more in philosophical and politological sperging while involving himself in real world politics. Maybe he also felt bad about running a show laughing at retarded leftists since he wanted to present himself as this wise intellectual figure. I think the names of his next two channels, "The Thinkery" and "The Symposium", kinda tell you everything.

Sargon definitely found his interest in philosophical academic pursuits later in life than most, and has leaned in ever since. I thought his videos on Marcus Aurelius's Meditations were better than the undergrad class I took on the topic.

For all his cringe from a decade ago, he is the only guy from the GG era who grew up and evolved his content, and his read on current year UK politics is on the money.

Locus Eaters might've been Sargon's smartest move, he's an absolute midwit but by surrounding himself with people who are more charismatic and more intelligent than him its adds some legitimacy to the drivel he says. He likely doesn't think of it that way but the results speak for themselves.
