Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Will it be like that Afghanistan exercise where the "opfor" commander wasn't allowed to use strategy because that made it too hard for the NATO commander to win?
Came and went already. It's just an interesting look into NATO.

Conscription has a side effect many don't take into account, as the Battle of Athens in Tennessee and this video illustrate:

In Odessa, a military officer beat up the head of a law enforcement assistance group.

PTS workers and the "druzhinnyky" who help them are not liked. Especially the latter, because it is they who beat Ukrainians, mobilizing them to the front. However, this time the hour of reckoning has come. The man of the AFU returned to his native Odessa, where he had not been for more than a year. The mobilized man went into a cafe and could not believe his eyes - there he met the man who a year ago kicked him as he lay on the ground.

The soldier did not miss his chance - and took revenge.

There's going to be a reckoning, one way or another, when this war is over in the Ukraine.

Has anyone heard about the "800k shells for Ukraine"?

The Czech government announced on 17 Feb that it had found 500,000 rounds of 155-millimeter caliber ammunition and 300,000 rounds of 122-millimeter caliber available in unnamed countries for sale. The government at the time didn't name where they had found these shells. They just demanded that other people give them money to buy the shells for ukraine.

A few days ago, the government named Turkey, South Africa and South Korea as some of the places these shells might be coming from. Pakistan is rumored to be another unnamed contributor.

The Czech government has now promised that the shells will magically start arriving in Ukraine in the next few weeks. Many of the details on what is being bought when for how much money have changed over time in the story. On March 8th, the Czech government said that they only had enough money to buy 300,000 shells. On the same day, the government of Norway announced that they have given the Czechs enough money that they could buy a million shells.

There is no way to confirm anything in the story. There is no transparency with regard to anything the Czech government is doing with the shells. For all anyone knows, there could be no shells at all.

If I was "drafted" in that way, managed to live and come back, and saw the chucklefuck that impressed me into service, he'd be lucky that getting beat up was all he got. These poor sods have to know their chances when they go to the front, I'm honestly surprised that there aren't more cases where these press gangs get murdered.

I was starting to get worried about PL. I am glad he is still alive somehow.

I like how they are just embracing the "orc" meme.

It's not really the fault of kidnappers. NATO needs more bodies to sacrifice.

If there are no goons that are "just following orders" tyrants would just be impotently waggling a piece of paper and screeching about how it's the law now. They may not be the ones most at fault but there's room enough on the gallows for everyone.

A slice of life from “democratic” Ukraine…

EDIT:

Not strictly SMO related, but posted here as a good example of Euro cuckery and its consequences.

Imagine how prosperous and powerful Europe would be if they led a sane policy towards Russia, and invested as mush attention towards industry and trade as they devote to grooming kids and pleasing faggots.

EDIT 2:

From PL’s documentary from the front lines for the cat lovers.

A brave four legged comrade!

Note the compassion from the Russian soldier:

Cats seek out the soldiers, since some were abandoned when civilians left the area.

There are less dogs, and for very good reasons.

This would threaten Euroclear with loss of license and pretty much put another nail in EU's economy.

And the EU with this move can say goodbye to euro’s status as a reserve currency. and place of investment, etc

Never mind of course destabilizing precedent that western countries would set by doing this. And accelerate the end of the dollar also.

Weakening the EU and the € is a big bonus, in not the main goal of the US

Funny you should point this out. So far the consequences of this conflict appear to have hit EU the hardest (excluding Ukraine of course), and the reasons for that were either entirely self-imposed or imposed at the behest of the US. With allies like these...

This once again brings us to the argument over whether the world is ruled by a cabal of shadowy masterminds or a bunch of feebleminded morons who cannot comprehend what they are doing, but the outlook for the EU is bleak either way. In the former case, their sovereign and "ally" is purposedly weakening them and hanging them out to dry in the most cynical manner possible, and in the latter case, well, EU is ran by a bunch of feebleminded morons who cannot see two steps into the future. Wake up sheeple, etc, etc.

In the long term, Ukraine benefits the United States more than Russia. Anyone noticed EU news trying hard to demonized India while US news is doing the opposite because Hindus have a boner for Israel despite Hindu nationalists openly trying to outlaw Christianity and Islam in India? Yes, Hindu nationals are pro-Judaism. I find fascinating how quicky anti-Catholicism Ukraine YouTube is.

German Parliament just voted against supplying Ukraine with Taurus.

This is mostly an issue for inner politics since the "opposition" of CDU is trying to make the chancellor look bad and two coalition parties Greens and FDP are basically pro supplying but have to vote along coalition lines lest having the government collapse but it's still reassuring to have them not go completely nuts.

It was not a secret vote. So everyone's vote is known.

This new raid into Kursk has been a complete clownshow. the first indications it was underway was the usual nazi larpers posting bullshit and then the flood of "my god they are marching on moscow" as is tradition. instead what is clearly a attempt to get attention away from the recent clapping of HIMARS, Patriots, Abrams and NASSAMS with a ill-fated attack on heavily fortified lines

For an army that is suffering from morale issues and a severe lack of manpower. yet another waste of most likely 1000+ men and women on a PR stunt just shows you how disconnected the Ukrainian politicals and their nato masters are.

Executing defeated armies is nigger behavior. It only builds resentment and sets the stage for an even bloodier follow-up war.

"If everyone just agreed all together at once not to follow the leader, the leader would be impotent" is the sort of thing that's sounded clever to armchair philosophers since before armchairs existed, but everyone with half a brain knows that's not how society and systems of hierarchy work.

Massacring surrendering soldiers and slaughtering defeated civilians to punish them for opposing you in a war, besides being evil, is simply bad policy. Emulating Genghis Khan ended with atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Putin's quite smart to keep the savagery and barbarism to a minimum, ensuring that most of the countries America has cried and whined at don't join the "cause," and see this as a regional fight over political issues, not a moral crusade obligating them to do something.

There's also the fact that if the only choices you offer enemy soldiers are death or death, they're choose death by your hand rather than death by surrendering. Why surrender why you know you're dead either way? Better to take as many orcs as you can with you.
