That's what they mean when they say "right wing" or their other idiot go-to, "Nazi." You're a Nazi. I'm a Nazi. @Hollywood Hulk Hogan is a Nazi. What does it take to be a Nazi? Just be here.

I'm a Nazi
You're a Nazi
He's a Nazi
She's a Nazi
Wouldn't you like to be a Nazi too?

Honestly, I'm probably already on some list just for being a Christian. Now I'm likely on some other list for being a Gamer that cares about the industry and the current rot infecting it.

I'd actually argue it started earlier with the Tea Party, in 2009. Far less influential than Occupy Wall Street of course, but scattered in the same way. A bunch of chucklefucks got inserted into the movement and started talking about irrelevant shit to journalists. These statements then got circulated by every talking head, treating them as lunatics and figureheads of the movement. It lost momentum almost immediately afterwards.

The chucklefucks are always there. The reason you disproportionately hear from them should be self-evident, it's in the interests of a partisan & activist press.

Why no conservative billionaires bought publications like The Atlantic or the Washington Post when they were available for a pittance, relatively speaking, will forever baffle me.

Dunno if this was already reported, but Alyssa Mercante of Kotaku challenged YTer The Quartering to a fight, then blocked the guy's account when he accepted.
Comedy gold. The details are near the end of the video.
Why do these malformed leftists freaks think they can fight? Just by the nature of the quarterpounder being a man he would work her.

Next stage achieved... the gamers leveled up from conservative to far right and finally to nazi. Anything to get what they want.

Do niggerfaggots ever shut up?

Chris Kindred's employer probably likes its (honestly not sure if moisturized man or butch lesbian) views and wants those views to be platformed on account of Chris being a terminally oppressed BIPOC LGTVBBQ+ person. That doesn't matter, because Chris hates the playerbase and the playerbase hates Chris in kind. In order to spite Chris, the players will avoid buying games that SBI consulted on and eventually any games from developers that have a repeated history of collaborating with DEI/ESG services. In order to regain their sales, developers will avoid working with SBI and eventually DEI/ESG services. In this scenario, where Chris keeps running its mouth and generating more backlash, SBI goes out of business and can no longer cut checks to Chris.

Looks like Chris is training for a new career.

I'd like to include something on the topic of modern games being borderline bloatware nowadays. In 2004, there was a game called .kkrieger, a 3D shooter game which you can still get from My Abandonware, that was really good looking for it's time & I'd say it still is pretty as a gem of it's era.

But the most important part is that they put this game, which usually should at the very least be around 500 MB to 1 GB... into just 96 KB. Not even MBs, KBs, & not even a 100 KBs, just 96 KB.

The point is, it was possible in 2004 to save GBs worth of space, it's possible now too & more than ever with technological advancements of now compared to 2 decades ago from now. The issues are laziness, incompetence, & literal unironic skill issue on the modern game developer's part nowadays.

More than that, they neither consider optimization & compression a necessity, nor bloatware a problem at all, leading to them just not giving a shit about these things to begin with, let alone innovate on it like .kkrieger did.
I'm not too familiar with programming and shit but doesn't DRM also take a fuck ton of memory or resources and shit? Like even top of the line rigs and shit get absolutely slaughtered from how slow they run because of DRM running in the background to prevent piracy (Something I believe they've failed preventing like every time). But yeah, lots of games have bloatware. I've recently gotten into Helldivers 2, love that game, don't really understand the balancing issues everyone's complaining about recently with the game (I play on hard currently so I guess I haven't "suffered" yet?) but I enjoy it, my issue is that nprotect anti cheat that supposedly gains root access to your system. There's no reason for something like that to dig in so deep into your system.

The Miles Dyson of Gamergate 2.

If this Chris Kindred retard wasn't surrounded by people who huff their own gas on a daily basis, he'd have been fired from a real world job a long time ago. No one realistically would put up with this kind of shit. Even if he was apart of some "so called" minority group. This THING (I refused to call it a man) is an obnoxious attention whore willing to beclown himself for just the tiniest bit of internet clout.

It's absurd that these particular faggots are taken seriously by a wide range of people.

While I don't play Bethesda games to agree with you heavily, Valve doesn't always update their games with needed upgrades. So far, TF2 is the only game with x64-bit support, yet L4D2, CSS and Portal have not gotten any form of upgrade to be able to run on modern hardware, which can be a complete pain in the ass after you build your own computer. Even GMod doesn't have built-in x64-bit support, other than a x64-bit branch that is still "in development".
Now, I know that they have to run in some sort of compatibility mode, but I've NEVER played any of those games on anything BUT an x64 system.

Granted my x64 system was rather new at the time, but I've had an x64 system for the entire time I've had a Steam account, since '07.

Not really actually. DRM itself can be a very low and small check to see if you're running the client and own the game. After all, "Downloadable Rights Managements" is just that.

Even anti cheat software doesn't have to be that bad, but Denuvo and nProtect are certainly 2 big bad names that people looked out for. Not necessarily because they take root access, complaining about that is just the libtard parroting point tip of the iceberg. Still a bit sketch, but a fair few anti cheat software programs do this. However Denuvo is certainly unnecessarily heavy! And nProtect specifically has had a shady history of running despite closing the software. And remaining on your pc after deinstalling it. It isn't "Necessarily" bad to do this, but the fact that it has these 2 issues means you can not stop the program from doing this, and THAT is the issue.

Which as far as I've seen, and as far as those 2 points go, have been fixed at least in nProtect.

Doesn't that stuff also prevent you from being able to run that shit on linux, in the case where the developer doesn't feel up to doing a native linux port?

They have to ask themselves is the Linux install base large enough to warrant that, and if they don't include the same DRM on Linux it'll be a shitshow so better not to play.

Ah! Denuvo was what I was thinking of when I brought up DRM. I roughly remembered people really pissed off about it when that one Assassin's Creed game couldn't run properly even on top of the line systems around that time because of Denuvo running in the background along with a few other games. Still though, nProtect acting sketchy like a virus certainly doesn't ease up my feelings even if they don't act on it.

The worst DRM acts like an aggressive and nasty trojan horse, grinding into your operating system in weird ways and doing a lot of damage to performance in various ways. I've even hard of badly designed DRM permanently degrading the performance of certain parts of your computer.

All but the most easily circumvented DRM should be viewed as malware and treated as such. DRM is why my old copy of the PC version of The House of the Dead on CD will never work on a modern PC, even though I actually paid for it. Oh well, a Dreamcast ISO of the same game running in RetroBat works well though.

Doesn't that stuff also prevent you from being able to run that shit on linux, in the case where the developer doesn't feel up to doing a native linux port?

Not just Linux, plenty of my old Windows disks don't work on a modern version of Windows at all, I need to find them on warez sites (or if I'm lucky GOG or another digital storefront) if I ever want to play them again.

Even though posts after January happened when this thread was on page 7 and, like always, the conversation started on 4chan but we're the conspirators in all this? I wonder how long Chris has been keeping up with the thread.

It's a little bit ironic to accuse other people of doing phrenology when a goal of DEI in games is to promote dysgenic characters. Remember when Activision-Blizzard-King released a tool which among other things granted "points" for characters with "non-aesthetic" physical deformities? https://archive.is/w7Fq1

Don't be mistaken. Just because Acti-Blizzard tried to memory hole that press release, that exact type of point-system is alive and well. Every time one of these developers or publishers gets ransomwared we get a new deluge of their diversity crap progslop. I still got the Capcom leaks where they used Zelda and Princess Peach as inappropriate examples of women in video games, right along with their HR files matching employee donations to BLM.
