Weeeell, we know who it was that was telling Rackets that July was blacklisting people and "threatening" "beloved" creators. So this was very likely an EVS argument to begin with.

So far, Gabe's just done coloring for the Isom books. A couple of others did coloring for AlphaCore. Some people have said the coloring got noticeably different about halfway/two thirds into the comic, so that could explain that. Gabe said he's working on a different project though (other than Isom 3). So could be Goodyng, Horseman, Bloodruth, or something else. When the girl doing Yaira got announced, I'm pretty sure I recall people saying that she also usually does her own inking, coloring, or both. But probably won't know for sure until this one comes out.
Same. Cover A looks really nice, but I like B more. But I'm usually partial to comic covers that look like comic covers instead of a glorified poster. In general though, White's stuff looks really good. Not sure how he is on interiors, but I bet he's still kicking himself for passing on doing Isom a few years ago.
Yup. Plus, based on a few interviews the twins have done. They don't sound like they're as entrenched into the trans stuff as people like to post that they are. Granted, they could be faking it. But it's possible their opinions changed at some point or it's mostly a way for them to appeal to the DEI crap being pushed in TV and movies. Although I suppose the latter doesn't make it that much better, but meh.
In the end though, as long as the editors make sure weird stuff doesn't get in, it shouldn't matter. Plus, it's a little funny to me how these people act like they're helping Eric by gatekeeping. But at the same time, really should love it if he hires crazy sisters that push trans surgery and the like. Because that will ultimately make it so Eric's company dies faster.
My thinking is because it was 10 years ago and they're women. I don't get it, but from what I gather from other Canadians. Trudeau somehow makes women's lady bits tingle and it was a big reason why he got elected or reelected.

Something was bothering me about the Yaira sample pages, so I looked at more of Carita's art and I thought her pencils/inks looked fine. I think I just don't like the colors on this very much, they look a bit washed out, if that's the appropriate term.
It does make the panel where Yaira punches that chick stand out though.
JDA would be in a better spot if he did as he preached and was anti-degeneracy from the start. He'd better treat Guadalupe right, the gunt should serve as a warning.

I’ve always wondered how many regulars/past regulars in this thread came to know of Comicsgate through an appreciation of comics, rather than becoming aware of Ethan and co because of their increasing levels of lolcow faggotry.
Myself, I was a devotee of the comics scene from the 80s/90s; including Transformers UK and Death’s Head, Machine Man and Iron Man.
Like many, I had grown tired of the bullshit liberalist propaganda in all mid-2010 media including comics; so when I first became aware of an ‘organised’ crowdfunding movement like Comicsgate, I was really interested. Admittedly, I only became aware, of all ironies, after seeing EVS appear on an Az Chats episode circa Spring 2020.
I really thought that the idea of Comicsgate had the potential to do something great. And it could have been - but of course we know how history played out. A bunch of unchecked egos who languished in the drama and encouragement from brainwashed paypigs, reminding us all that behind every great creative you need a proper manager to crack the whip, push deadlines and manage the admin side.
As much as I delight in EVS’ fury and continuous buffoonery, the ashes of Comicsgate make me reflect on what a wasted opportunity this. Unlike the majority of Lolcows on the site (perhaps with the exception of Rekieta), Comicsgate will serve as an historic lesson in how to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
