I'd say it's because the women's rights movement and the gay rights movement both are associated with Team Blue. And in today's political climate (in the USA at least) if you aren't WITH every position of Team Blue, then you are AGAINST Team Blue, so feminists default to sucking ladydick*.

For those not watching the Dagny thread, she started the fight by throwing water on the other girls in the bathroom because they said her laugh was funny, per Dagny's description. Dagny filled her water bottle before going into the bathroom after the other girls, which suggests it was premeditated. She also stated that she didn't even know them and had no prior interactions with them. Then she got slapped around for about 15 seconds before the teachers broke up the fight. The grandmother called the school resource officer to meet them at the hospital afterwards because they wanted to lynch the girls that Dagny started a fight with and stated multiple times that they planned to sue the school over it, prior to Dagny's death.
