there was a minor flap about a DFAC (dining facility) at fort carson in colorado not being able to be kept open on weekends which led to soldiers going hungry.

to give you some background, DFACs were staffed with army regulars and civilian helpers from the korean war to 1990s which churned out mostly pleasant food in large quantities for troops to eat for free. some of the fancier ones literally served veal a few nights every week.

in the 90s they got converted to contractor run facilities, where the rape and runs really started proliferating. replacing trained army cooks with ex-cons and other riffraff and cutting corners everywhere. fast forward to 2024 and a military that spends 850 billion a year cannot keep its DFACs open to serve the troops and have to rely on giving them slim jims and yogurt cups in coolers.

not being able to feed your troops in garrison is like a USSR collapse style scenario man, you tell me.

Canada is in a similar place to where it was in 1984 in terms of government spending, but the biggest difference is unchecked immigration has both strained housing and further suppressed wages. PP will most likely cut spending like Mulroney and Chretien dis as well as onerous government regulations, but I doubt that will be enough on its own. Immigration is placing undue strain on our healthcare system and government services so I believe that he will cut immigration targets, though not in any appreciable way because this country is caught in a feedback loop. Trudeau already has his foot on the gas as he doubles down, but "going the speed limit" at least buys us some time--in theory.

I'm not optimistic, though. Trudeau has done irreparable damage with his immigration policy so neither the CPC or PPC have enough room to break so Canada is going off a cliff regardless.

There is no fixing 7+ million pajeets with how many years of going the speed limit. The fact that PC recognizes that jeets are their new demographic targets should tell you all you need to know: you have been replaced.

It benefits the fat cats who run the universities and the strip-mall colleges a lot too. And employers can now demand more credentials from average workers because they can just import a brown man who has nothing more to his life than cheating and padding his résumé. All while offering less and less in wages and rents soar.

It's legally feasible since most non-whites in this country are neither permanent residents nor citizens and thus can be removed, but it's still not going to happen. And soon enough we'd need constitutional change or a white revolution to get rid of enough of them to make Canada a livable place again.

The governments of China and India in particular would be pissed for obvious reasons, and that's not even to mention that the Americans would go insane about it too.

That's so much of why globalization is a killer for whites/white countries in the west; you can't really do anything that's genuinely in the interest of your people (I mean actual Frenchmen or Swedes or whomever, not Abdul who can barely say "Give me that" in English and who just got a permanent residency card and a new iPhone from the government.)
