I didn't know all of that, thanks. What I meant by wanting them to resurge was more the base philosophy they were known for, not the people behind it. I figured they were furries and so acted like it regardless, of course.TL;DR: Burned Furs were just a group of people who had such repulsive personalities and tendencies that they couldn't (and some still can't) get laid. Even at a furry con in the early 2000s.
It's just difficult to get away from the innumerable fetish content that most furries produce. Pushing back against it makes sense for those of us who want a SFW space to enjoy the funny animal people.
