@Drkowert Dr. Rachel Kowert is a very busy individual.

Canada announced a funding program on March 13 2024 to study violent extremism in video games, so lets unpack today the relationships and connections!

The federal government of Canada has announced more than $300,000 in funding awarded to a group to study how gaming communities can potentially create environments conducive to radicalization and violent extremism via gender-based analysis. The official post from Canada dot CA specifically states they are looking at how misogyny plays a role in extremist ideologies across geography.

Dominic LeBlanc, Minister of Public Safety, has approved this funding and are working with Extremism and Gaming Research Network through a partnership with the Royal United Services Institute for Defence and Security Studies. The funding provided falls under the Community Resilience Fund- which aims to combat extreme violence in communities in Canada.

What is Extremism and Gaming Research Network? Lets unpack:

EGRN is a research network that aims to uncover how malign actors exploit gaming and inversely, they want to use gaming for good. Started in 2021, they boast more than 60 registered members and include many "top global think tanks and institutions". One of their core mission questions reads as such: How can gamers and gaming platforms be empowered to combat hate and facilitate building positive, resilient communities?

We also act as a bridge from gamer communities and small CSOs developing their own games, all the way to donor governments and international policymakers at the United Nations through the mandated UN Office of Counter Terrorism (UNOCT) and other mandated UN agencies including UNDP and UNITAR.

If you scroll to their membership page, filed under individual members, the 5th one listed is Dr. Rachel Kowert. Other members included are an ADL Belfer Fellow researcher, lecturers from various universities, and various counter terrorism individuals, along with "far right extremist experts".

Under the research tab on the website under 'reports & research papers', they directly link to posts written by Dr. Rachel Kowert, linking to Take This Org and the second article listed is that from the ADL.

On the same page, they talk about conducting the first ever behavioral research within the gaming community of BRAZIL and their involvement with political action.

And you must be asking yourself, how does all of this connect back to @SweetBabyInc? Dr. Kowert authored the blogpost from Take This Org "denouncing" gamergate 2 and linking a @Kotaku article defending SBI.

Honestly, I'm not surprised this one goes back to psychologists. I've long said one of the many key factors to this insanity was the push of the DSM-V manual that simplified a lot of mental disorders and brought in the new theories like gender identity and such.

Not THE source of this infestation of course, but certainly a catalyst that helped unleash the crazies.

About that whole "Racism is prejudice plus power." thing a few pages back. It makes no sense to me. Most of the US government isn't asian so does that mean asians can't be racist against blacks? And what if someone who hates asians and wants them all killed goes to China? Is he not racist anymore because the country he's in is ruled by asian people?

They literally let a bunch of guys who write erotic castration fiction help advise changes in the DSM-V. It's a general trend of letting a bunch of nutjobs in, they rise up the ranks, and then implement their lunacy from the top down.

Truth. The left does not have a monopoly on censoring what they don't like. Many years ago I was 'encouraged' to drop out of high school (or be expelled) by our Fundie VP because I not only dared to like AD&D and run a campaign at school, but shut down the literal preacher's daughter who tried to make a presentation how role-playing games were Satanic to the school at lunch one day.

It shames me how today's leftests are no better or even worse then the right of a couple decades back that I fought against. This is why I remain a centrist and laugh at both sides for being total retards for the most part.

This shit is literally Antonio Gramsci's "war of position" theory in action. They know their shit is unpopular and won't be reasonably accepted, so they work their way up to the top of society in order to push this stuff on people. There's no point in engaging in their "reasoning" because they define it in terms they change on a whim to suit their needs.

It's not supposed to make sense, it's the copiest of Basketball American copes. They know that they got the shit end of the stick for a while in our country, and even though they're equal on the books, they're confused as to why they're underperforming as a demographic. Instead of accepting that Basketball Americans are dumber on average in comparison to Beaners/Nips/Honkies/Pajeets/Dune Coons and are prone to making poor decisions with their life, they'd rather blame all of their shortcomings on the white devil and redefine the white devil's language so that black people can only be considered victims, never perpetrators, of racism.

It's pure cope. They need to improve their own communities, accept their place in the racial hierarchy and be glad that we stopped lynch mobs and sundown towns generations ago.
