Why does he even need a team? I know he's historically been bad at editing, but he even has someone managing his Twitter accounts? Is it an autistic bid to roleplay as Very Important People? Is he just self-aware enough to surround himself with tard wranglers now?

AFAIK he manages his own Twitter now. His first team started in 2014 and was mostly made up of artists, animators, and composers for Growing Around. A few of these people edited for him, but the only one who did consistently was AnimatedBeing, who edited for him in 2016. When Nayolfa (the co-creator of Growing Around) left around 2017, Enter replaced him with Cerra - a 14-year-old - who soon started editing for Enter as well. Ever since then his old team has slowly transformed into his new team, which is made up of editors, Growing Around/video artists, proofreaders, voice actors, and some people I'm pretty sure literally just hang around his server. Cerra seems to basically be his right hand man. He writes for some of his videos, manages a lot of his social media and managed his Twitter until the Turning Red incident (where Enter forcibly took the account back, and he's controlled it ever since.)

Walt's win is that he managed to outlast most of the Channel Awesome alumni and is still beloved by a niche community of people like Oney. While the rest are languishing into irrelevance after the Not-So-Awesome document.

Quinton Review is still pretty lulzy and I'm not sure if he is still chasing the breadtuber tail but in one instance he was about to be canceled by a former worker, but then he released the mother of all response videos in which he was in surgical precision outed the worker as an obsessive fan. To this day he is going strong with live-action Nick Retrospectives.
