There was a Newsclip of a video I saw a couple of months ago where a mum, her minor daughter and minor niece were kicked of a flight due to the POS policy. The POS only booked one seat but needed two. In the video you could here SW personnel in the airport terminal telling her there was nothing they could do. The family had flown from somewhere else and had to change flights in Denver (from memory). They ended up stuck in Denver until they could get another flight. While POS policy wants these fatties to book extra seats at booking, they don’t actually require it. However the fatties can use the early boarding queue for disabled folk, then ask for reserved seat cards to place on the seat next to them. Bad luck to whoever booked that seat if the plane was already fully booked.Do you have a source for that happening?
This wasn’t the news link I originally saw, but tells the story
