i know people don't like kimpologetics, but for all her maternal shortcomings, she at least has custody of her kid (somehow) and is more or less in his life, even if he's illiterate, sleeping on piss-stained plywood & dying of preventable malnutrition etc.

thanks to kim's irresistable allure, aeideain even has (kind of) a dad in his life-- i do think dalton seems dedicated as a step-parent, although he is unfortunately also forever broke, dumb as a box of rocks, frequently jailed, etc.

when you compare that to sammie not being a mom at all to lucy & bentley-- and in fact often denying they even exist-- does that make kim a "better" mom ?

Kim is such a terrible parent that it would be better for her to not be present in his life. Ideally neither would have kids but... here we are.

She doesn't have custody officially as far as I know, he just fell through the cracks after her mom/his grandma died. All of the, unfortunately, nornal-bad things that can happen in foster care seem to already be going on. More medical neglect under Kim than my experiences with foster care, they usually keep more eyes on medical documents/mandatory reporting but who the fuck knows what happens in Arkansas and their counties CPS. Apparently fuck all? And I do not trust Dalton at all in any way to be near him. Needs to gtfo.

Sammie is a total failure but her lack of custody is a favor to her kids because of Mama Shart, and if Sammie were to disappear altogether they would benefit. People usually say it about their POS bilogical fathers, but sometimes it actually is better to be raised without a dad. It is better for them not to be in their life. And that is an incredibly sad thing. It happens with biological moms too. Kim and Sammie are examples.

e: Like the more I think about it the more mad I get. Kim keeps trying to have kids so she can get their tugboat. She drags Aiden around to beg in Walmart parking lots. They are frequently homeless. He witnesses DV and disputes that get the law involved at least a few times a year. He gets dragged on whatever whims Kim and Dalton have regardless of his health or school schedule. They let just anyone around him anywhere. I don't trust Dalton. Absolute complete failure in every aspect of maintaining his health issues. No nutrition. Piss floors. No one to help him even when he is asking. Woken up by Kim's dumbass flash on duck selfies when he is at the hospital. Her hands on all of his infections and wounds so she can ebeg.

Below a certain threshold of bad parenting it doesn’t really matter. The gene pool of both parties is more like water circling a drain so the kids are doomed no matter what.

Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on your perspective), a larger and larger part of the public school system revolves around taking care of the dysgenic children of absent, dysgenic parents. Schools work with basically every government office concerned with child welfare and as a result the basic needs of these children are met. In essence, the state will wind up doing more to raise these children than their parents ever will, regardless of whether or not the state has guardianship. Looking at it from this perspective serves to reinforce my above statement that when a certain threshold of bad parenting is reached, the outcome for the children is more or less the same no matter how much worse it gets.

They are both terrible in their own way not better at all both just horrible creatures.

Kim keeps Aiden around for his disability check. Hes dirty, and raised in a filthy hovel. Kim can work but wont because shes a lazy cunt. She stays with an equally violent retarded dude and they both get into fights around him. Hes also medically neglected as well. If it wasn't for her dad dragging them along they would all be homeless. Kim literally wouldnt have him anymore without her parents. Same with sammie.

Both are disgusting creatures that are not mothers. They are just ghetto breeders.

I never really believed in the link between IQ and empathy until recently while reading this thread. In the past it seemed to me that empathy should be an instinctual thing—there are low IQ people who love animals, right? But this thread has really sold me on the idea. People like Kim and Sammy can keep having kids because they don’t have the intelligence, theory of mind, or empathy that proceeds from them to understand and care that they’re subjecting their children to horrible lives. It reminds me of this passage from an essay on American Renaissance about black criminals:

My client was the one who beat the girl. When he asked me, “What are our chances at trial?” I said, “Not so good.” He immediately got angry, raised his voice, and accused me of working with the prosecution. I asked him how he thought a jury would react to the video. “They don’t care,” he said. Noah is an addict with all kinds of issues, but he grew up with advantages no one in this thread ever had. He's also got a solid support system: his family provided shelter, assistance, and support of every type when he needed it. It's a whole lot easier to step up when everyone and everything around you effectively gives you a leg up.

Also, Darnell would have to wake up and sit up before he could step up, so there's that.

I think about this thread every time the Reddit crew is calling CPS on Alex for her "mistreatment" of Ari. Those fools simply have no idea of what child neglect actually looks like. They're mad because Ari didn't get a birthday sash and, in the meantime, here's Sammie popping out another kid and diabetic Aidean riding home from the hospital, eating sweets and not in a car seat.
