Someone's getting pissy I see. It's probably because my comparison's pretty accurate and coming up with a retort is forcing you to dance out of your standbys to deal with it. I mean really, using golf scores and insurance commercials to prove that you're Jesus and Einstein and not just a worthless cokehead in Florida's armpit is just as whack as using victorian era hatmaking to proclaim yourself a band and a mascot. Univ. of Miami was ahead 13-3 at the half. I changed channels*, feel asleep, and woke up with the score FSU 17 Miami 13. WTF! Miami scored on a great touchdown pass with less than a minute left to apparently tie the game at 20-20. The crowd went nuts! The Hurricane kicker had kicked 72 straight extra points, so the extra point was 'a sure thing'. Wrong! FSU blocked the kick, the score was FSU 20 Miami 19 and the crowd was stunned.

How does this reflect my discoveries? Unified Strings 21/19 Theory. If the Hurricanes had gone for 2 extra points, they might have won 21-20. But they went for the sure thing: 1 extra point for the 20-20 tie and overtime. The kick was blocked and they lost 20-19. 21/19.
