I feel like people constantly ignored Chris's worst aspects or downplayed them because he is an idiot. If the internet treated him seriously from the moment he arrived I feel like a lot more trouble could have been saved from occurring.

He's smart not to venture into the jail and legal saga since little is known for sure. More will come out later and also much later at some point. If that happens after he's done an episode, then he loses all of that chronological magic and ability to make linear presentation.

Yep there's so much we don't know yet, the whole jail saga coverage would end up just being jail letters reading. Sooner or later we should get the so-called "goddess log", a journal Chris wrote through his stay allegedly hundreds of pages long. Even if Praetor is censoring people's identities in it, it should still give a lot of new insights, and I for one am looking forward to more info on his psych hospital stay.

I was already on Kiwi farms when the incest event happened, but I had virtually no knowledge of Chris Chan. I got on here because of the Change the Channel drama, which feels like small potatoes in comparison.

All I knew about Chris Chan was a couple of pieces of the Sonichu art that I stumbled across and the general description of "an autistic guy that gets made fun of on he internet."

It wasn't until the Barb-cest event happened and blew up Twitter that I did a deep dive into Chris-tory just to get the full story on what led to this. That led me to Geno's videos which is the most comprehensive record in video form. With each passing episode, I could feel more and more of my sanity draining.

I couldn't believe that Chris was this bad for this long and I couldn't believe that I got up to JULAY and taint cutting only to have the Barb event looming over all of it, meaning it was only going to get worse.

Its one thing to experience it all in real time and watch it all unfold as it happens, but it is another to know where it is all going and marathon the whole story. It almost felt like I was trapped in the vortex from 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Anyway, I do hope for an epilogue episode. I would still like to see him cover the events that happened after the arrest, but I understand the guy needs some rest... And maybe some time to farm even more history.

I think 90% of it is going to be the same low-effort Jesus crap we've been seeing since he got out. I doubt Praetor would allow anything really interesting to be published, so it's going to be just him going on about his retarded interpretations of the bible, which, from what we've seen, has been extremely weak.

It's crazy to think that I have watched 85 episodes of this. While I have known about Chris since about 2009, I didn't stumble deeper into the rabbit hole until 2020 when I somehow came across this documentary. It was right after COVID-19 hit the US east coast. While my place of work never shut down (I work as an outpatient therapist), we initially were not approved to do telehealth and my caseload dropped dramatically so I would keep watching episodes at work (nothing like getting paid to watch YouTube I guess? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ). Of course then telehealth became a thing.
I then continued to watch every new episode as they came out for the next 4 years. It is going to be weird not having anything else come out next month. But what a fucking crazy ride it has been. I think I started off feeling the same way others did at first, I felt bad for the guy. But seeing him continue to do the same things over and over again my pity turned into frustration. I kept watching hoping that something positive would change and we would get a Chris Chan redemption arc and he would succeed (either by his comics somehow taking off or get a reality check to wake him up to the real world by him finding another hobby turn into a somewhat productive job). But as we all know that just never happened. Although, even if what happened didn't occur, I still don't know if he would have ever gotten that wake up call. He was so set in his mind that he did not owe anyone everything and it was the world who owed him anything he wanted just because he said so. (I realize that I am starting to just ramble on and on about the obvious so I will start to wrap this up now.)
I didn't know about kiwifarms before the documentary so at least now I have some other lolcows I can follow in the meantime (I ended up starting to follow the Jonathan Yaniv saga after Chris went to jail). But man, I definitely cannot say that this was how I thought the series was going to end back in 2019 (not that I had any idea or assumptions of how it would end, but how it did end was absolutely nowhere on my radar). Thanks for letting me come along on this wild and crazy journey.
