this nigga retarded as hell also could you not drop the lazy "ur" shit for this serious post?
it rubs me the wrong way how this nigga says

“yeah man, i just align my chakras and meditate. that’s what helps me from killing myself but no frfr on god though, just be happy man. you’ll be okay just don’t be a little bitch about it”

ffs, can you not be some super ironic zoomer for once in your life?

Hate Jet, starting to hate Sam(he's great in the house, but he's getting as bad as Jet in managing the show)

Overall I think the cast was better than season one, I'd rather have Fish I hate than Fish I don't think about. The second half of the season slump was entirely on Sam and Jet cratering the show for their pet fish. Trish was probably the worse as I was calling her out as the Damiel of the season since week one, long before the pictures of her with MDE people surfaced. Meg next for being the most boring of the cast. The competitor Freeloaders like Dumbgay, Taylor, and Abbi were mid to negative. Tai was the only good staff freeloader.

Hate the pointless chaos. Season 1 got a pass from me on how half baked, unprepared, and unstructured the show was. Somehow it felt worse this season, I think because they tried to force the fish to be active more. Like they were afraid of down time and wanted more content with out any real ideas for what to do.
Sam is still pretty close to neutral in my mind. Because he isn't present for everything he has to rely on briefings to get up to speed on the situation whenever he is there so I maintain some hope that a more engaged Sam could have a great positive impact on the show in theory. In the early weeks for this season Sam was very good at managing the atmosphere in the house among the Fish while he was there. He knew when to push and when to let things be, while the full-time crew would basically always push to a breaking point.

The aimlessness is very bad. I think it has a positive effect on clips and short moments, but a very detrimental effect on live-viewing. the lack of structure is also catastrophic for the engagement of the Fish themselves. If there is one massively important thing for them to get right it will be to establish some sense of structure. At least to the point that Fish feel like there is someone steering this mess. The lack of structure and a vision was felt by everyone and I found it annoying a lot of the time was a viewer.

I actually regret watching the last week of S2. Being there for the finale felt dumb in retrospect and the last days were not worth watching.

For all Jet's talk about supporting Shinji, they could really do him a solid by sponsoring an entertainer's visa for him, considering him and Sam run a production company that featured him in their work. It ain't that expensive, and granted, it would take some time and they would have to conjure up some BS gigs for him, but it would allow him much more freedom to work and support himself than a student visa. Shinji could also apply himself, since due to appearing in Fishtank, he meets some of the qualifications to apply for it, but it would be hella easier with a sponsor.

Yeah but it was fun shitting on it with the group here. I wouldn’t of watched though if I didn’t have the kiwi group, it felt really depressing.

I still think he had a chance of being a decent MDE employee, I would still also love to see fishtank Japanese game show.

People earlier in this thread were shocked that I disliked Cole so much and this pretty much sums up why I think he sucks. Dude is from a well off upper middle class family that paid for his college and allows him to live at home and he cries about it on Instagram. Also lol "my parents pressured me into taking out a huge loan to get a truck for status" tell them no maybe? You're a grown man. It's your money not theirs. He was a whiny crybaby on the show and he's a whiny crybaby irl.

The worst part of the last week(at least IMO) was TJ being drug across the finish line, and that's 100% Sam influence on the show. At much as Jet ruined Fish and moments, Sam ruined the finale.

It really feels like Sam and Jet just totally stopped giving a fuck about season 2's cast after the show ended. After season 1 they did streams with Letty and Josie and they also got roles in World peace 2.

To add to that too the point system, tay would earn a bunch of points and or steal them and then Sam would just force the other fish to buy curses until all that work meant nothing. It was just confusing in general trying to keep up with the numbers.

I remember last season I said that if they were gonna rig the challenges so that their favorite won, that I trusted them and that they should do a better job of it this time because my assumption was that they would have a natural bias towards the kinds of fish that make the show fun to watch live.

Instead, they picked TJ because he's good at sports and has a big old void where a personality belongs that they could prompt him to fill with Sam's retarded self-help dogshit in exchange for the grand prize and then immediately drop in the real world when it doesn't pay him to maintain the facade.

Fuck, go back. Neither Sam nor Jet has any idea. Just put a motion detector on every fish's wrist and don't tell them what it does and if they are stationary for 2 consecutive hours during the span between 12 PM to 12 AM then they're off the show.

This conversation has gotten me thinking about the show for the first time in a while and I have a question for everyone.

No one quits, fans get no vote, it's all chosen by Sam and Jet. What is the order of eliminations?

10. Cole
9. Meg
8. JC
7. Jimmy
6. Kayleigh
5. Shinji
4. Trish
3. Summer
Brian and TJ box it out for finale, it's Brian is such a bitch it's a coin flip.

Brian was Jet's mancrush and I see that carrying him like Sam carried TJ. Summer is assuming she pulls in the simp bucks, maybe she stays on like Trish did and still does in my hypothetical. JC makes it to 8th because that gives the normies a taste of Hellhouse moments with out actually putting her through it. Shinji at 5 is probably the shakiest of my guesses, no sooner but I could see a case of Trish at 5 and Shinji at 4 if Trish stays in the house like she did in the actual season, but no further. Cole was supposed to be eliminated first, they just didn't expect Brian to be so weak. Jimmy is also in his initial elimination on the actual show before Sam forced the vote that kicked Brian

Weirdly I remember Jet saying repeatedly that he was a fan of Jimmy so I think you're shorting him a lot. I think he started to resign himself to making him quit when Jimmy wouldn't chill but there were a few instances where Jet was hyping him, past the point where a lot of people had given up on him.

In the final week or so Jet tweeted something retarded like "TJ is the perfect fishtank contestant" but on the last day pointed at TJ and called him a pussy for not confronting Tayleigh properly and trying to steal the chips while she was showering rather than approaching her directly. So I think his mind just changed a lot, even in regards to abruptly hyping Brian up I think he just changed his opinion because of how dull the TJ Shinji combo was. And obviously if you have to rewrite history to suggest that Summer would last 42 days then you have to throw out a lot of the moments that made Jet change his mind about various fish. Anyone could like Summer if she didn't have a fucking mental episode but mental episodes define her.

Shinji would be top 3 again imo not 5 before the language barrier made it obvious he couldn't really be the winner. Both Sam and Jet really liked him.
I think if Summer is getting doll gifts like Josie was getting stuffies they carry her until the last couple days before upsetting the simps, otherwise I agree.

I 100% believe the malleting was orchestrated by Jet in revenge for Brian getting kicked. Not saying Jimmy was innocent, but they pushed him and didn't watch him hoping for something to kick him over

Ive always wondered: in a hypothetical scenario where the final is Brian & Trish what would Sam & co do ?

Would we end up with “beating Trish” but instead of being S3 its Brian desperately swinging on his love interest for 50k to free himself from the soup kitchen lol

Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity

Something I hope they do away with is the whole concept of plants and actors. Even in season one I thought it was lame because Damiel was the exact same person outside of show. It just makes discussion around the show annoying because people focus on who’s acting instead of their personalities or what’s going on in the show. It’s very insufferable to hear people who think that everything on the show is staged. Like people who thought Jimmy rage quitting was fake or people who still thought Taylor was acting weeks after the show ended.

Couldn't agree more. The constant breaking of the 4th wall (or dancing on the line of it) was by far the worst part of this season imo.

It was bad enough that they only lasted 5 days without realising that they're all fans (those first 5 days were easily the best part of the season as a whole, singular key events notwithstanding), but the constant "we've gotta make content" and meta/self aware discussions made the show painful to watch at times. Constant gaslighting about plants and actors just fuelled that and made the show much worse.

Literal dick sucking Sam competition.

Brian wins.
