This was the Chris Furtado PC. Phil paid Chris 1k to build him a custom and robust PC. Chris built him a good PC and Phil had problems with it so he immiedately blamed Chris and not himself for being a computer illiterate retard.

Are you talking about the RAGE video? I'm pretty sure that was when he got the $3K lemon PC since he's bitching about $3K at the end of it.

Actually in that video when Phil opens up task manager his GPU doesn't even show up in the performance menu. Did anyone ever tell him to look into this and is it possible that Phil has been running his $3K lemon PC on the integrated graphics instead of the graphics card this entire time?

He loves to do this with cult classic RPGs too. He was into Earthbound, Super Mario RPG, and Chrono Trigger as a kid, along with Super Mario World. Never a recollection of playing absolute awful SNES games, only games that saying you were a fan of them when they weren't popular might get you some e-points.

Phil is the ultimate poser, if it was popular then he says he was into it. When he lists his favorites in anything there's never anything unique or lesser known, just stuff that would show up on a clickbait listicle. Like when he was dropping his "PC GAMOR CREDS" and just listed off a bunch of popular games, including RTS games that there's no way he had the patience for.

Could be possible that he rented those games as a kid. I remember my local video rental store having Earthbound. Never rented it through because they decided to uses a generic box as the display piece due to how big the Earthbound box was..

It's just a bog standard narcissist thing. As someone who had a lot of experience dealing with a narcissist while growing up they pretend like they're an expert on skills, places, events, concepts etc. even if they only first heard of them 5 seconds ago. My favorite part about the SF 6 OS thing was that it wasn’t even available yet and still in its testing phase lol. I will miss the fighting game streams b/c they were the full DSP experience of salt, tard rage and pure mental deterioration.

I think a big thing with Phil is he's genuinely afraid of any sort of technology where you have to manage things like settings and updates. Look how much he struggles with basic settings the few times it comes up in consoles. It's usually something as simple as going into options and turning off lobby invites or whatever and he still needs handholding. And then there's him refusing to not only update from Windows 8.1, but refusing to reset his PC in general to avoid standard Windows updates. The one time he finally had to install a generic update on his laptop, he was acting like it was the equivalent of programming his own custom operating system and IIRC he even said he was afraid he might have to cancel or change the stream if it wasn't working. We've speculated it's also why he doesn't update his phone, he's afraid he won't be able to figure out how to transfer everything over (namely Champions) or that it'll work slightly different from his current phone so he sticks with what he knows. Well, knows is being generous given his techphobia, I guess it's more he sticks with what he can make technically function for his basic needs.

Yes, Phil has said he didn't update OBS for years. That 780 Ti in his main PC probably has drivers from a decade ago.

It's understandable to be technologically paranoid, some of these driver suites companies shit out are abysmal and bloat that can cripple your system is an increasing problem.

But, Phil takes it way too far, and it's based on his narcissism that cannot accept that he doesn't do everything correct. He needs to be guy who ran LAN parties and built PCs.

PCs have become easier to build and maintain through the years, but they're still not for everyone when consoles exist. Phil is one of those people. He's lazy and stupid.

I don't know if I remember right but I swear that along with the Lemon, the mini PC and the LiMB'n'tips tracking device that is his laptop, he also has at least 1 Alienware laptop that he bought back in the "Hand Over Fist" era of Youtube (as he calls it) and that he used a grand total of 0 times.

@ 5:36, this might be the one you are referring to. He also mentions this one @ 1:05:28, but I don’t know if it’s the same one since he says he got it before he was a YouTuber. I think this is the one that he would take on trips so he could upload his stolen tournament footage.

He's just lazy. Too lazy to upgrade. Too lazy to research what he needs to do. To lazy to learn the new thing. Too lazy to troubleshoot should something go wrong. Too lazy to take the item back or to a repair shop.
