Yeah, there was no way this was ever happening. I don't think anyone will or can interview Phil again unless it's a complete fluff piece like the Quartering one. The guy rage quit Battlefront 2 because some rando was standing in front of him, any sort of outside interaction he runs away from at this point.

He's still using a PC that he bought nine years ago. He spent $3000 on it from some PC building service and gave up on playing PC games when he tried playing RAGE on max settings while recording at 1080P because it started lagging.

I think he also still has another PC that two fans built him, before he bought the $3000 one. He gave up on that one because it lagged playing The Witcher 2 on max settings.

This was the Chris Furtado PC. Phil paid Chris 1k to build him a custom and robust PC. Chris built him a good PC and Phil had problems with it so he immiedately blamed Chris and not himself for being a computer illiterate retard.

He bought the 3k lemon when he moved to Washigton (that unboxing is a DSP classic).

DSP's current streaming setup:

• The 3k lemon he bought in 2014. It has a 780 ti in it and this is the PC he uses for streaming, uploading to YT, etc. It is stuck on Windows 8.1 and when his old capture card died he bought 4-5 different cards off Amazon that were supposed to work with Windows 8.1 and he couldn't get them to work. Finally, a fan and former Youtuber DasBoSchitt, had a similar card lying around and mailed it to DSP and he was able to get that capture card to work.
  • The capture card is just on the floor with one input so he has to plug that into whichever console he is playing that day.
• Asus Aspire A5 laptop which was donated by OnlyIcedCoffee. He uses this to monitor chat, OBS, and most importantly, PayPal. The Asus replaced his prior laptop that he used for a decade and was used for the jerkoff incident.
• A mini PC (IIRC the brand is Aukey or something like that) donated by a retard named Bentboxer. It has only been used to play Chronotrigger.
• A 50 inch Sony TV that he raised over $500 for (including a $400 tip) on stream. Instead of using the money to buy the TV, he bought the TV using 5 interest free payments through Amazon and spent the $500 on hogan pulls.
• A Sony PS5, XBOX Series X (Donated by OnlyIcedCoffee), and a Nintendo Switch.
  • He only has one HDMI cable that he switches between consoles.

I don't know if I remember right but I swear that along with the Lemon, the mini PC and the LiMB'n'tips tracking device that is his laptop, he also has at least 1 Alienware laptop that he bought back in the "Hand Over Fist" era of Youtube (as he calls it) and that he used a grand total of 0 times. I think he bought either another PC or another high end laptop during that time too that he also never used, but don't quote me on that, but I'm about 99% sure he has an Alienware laptop that's been collecting dust for the past decade and a half.

Essentially, Phil needs to do more work or change his habits? That thing is dead.

It's the same thing he says about any popular thing he doesn't want to do, like Baldur's Gate 3 getting so much pushback for months because he didnt want to play it. Therefore it's an overhyped piece of shit game.

He loves to do this with cult classic RPGs too. He was into Earthbound, Super Mario RPG, and Chrono Trigger as a kid, along with Super Mario World. Never a recollection of playing absolute awful SNES games, only games that saying you were a fan of them when they weren't popular might get you some e-points.

You know what, I almost believe him on this one. The trick here is that these games were always the most expensive on the console. Plus that and he did play FFIII as a kid. So I can believe he actually was playing a few of these. Although I should check out his Earthbound run sometime. See if he is fake fanning that one.

This is where not having an echo chamber would really help DSP. I'm sure his viewers could have guided him away from bad takes. They could have reminded him of this: Lost da Stud (2:10:30 - 2:10:55 , courtesy of DDM) .

Funny enough he claims he used to build his own Pc's. Which I would say should be reduced to one. He also held LAN parties (probably also only 1) and he even played PC Games before (Starcraft 2, Counter Strike Global Offensive) But his Lemon Pc he used for the PC port of Rage (great choice btw) soured him on PC Gaming. the most reasonable explanation giving by some already: Pc Gaming is "harder" work then console Gaming. For a console you just plug it in and go (except the whole downloading process even when you buy the freaking disc). for PC Gaming you have to tweak the game if necessary. Keep drivers updated. Probably too much work. Heck he probably hasnt updated his newest laptop yet because why change a running system right?

Oh and his rants about Pc Players having all the advantages over console players in SF VI were a thing to behold. especially after he deactivated Crossplay and after some easy wins got felted by Ps 5 players repeatedly and he reactivated crossplay in shame. I play SF VI on Pc and I don't find much difference. Only that I can use some nice skin mods because why the fuck not?

That's because there is none, his SF6 rants were pure schizophrenia. The latency is basically identical between current gen consoles and PC, he would sperg about custom operating systems that have lower latency than what has been found. Others here figured out that he's talking about Arturo Sanchez's "FGCOS" that's basically just a Windows 10 package with a bunch of features disabled or removed and there's no difference in latency, and DSP just assumes every PC player is using it for some reason. And then, even if there was a slight difference, it's questionable whether anyone would be able to feel a 10 millisecond difference let alone Pigroach and his 40 year old alcoholic brain.

it was also used when he played sea of stars before he put it on hiatus to focus on like a dragon. He was complaining a few streams back that he hadn't really used it much since no one is asking him to play PC games
