Fucking hell, slow your roll, pigman. I literally can't keep up with this thread anymore.

I don't think there were any stars after only a few million years, and calling them "literal time machines" is just perplexing. I'd also point that you should use "farther" when talking about physical distance, but Patrick S. Tomlinson is a professional maid, not a professional author, so we can't expect him to understand subtleties of language.
No, we can't "see it all", retard.

The part of the universe that we can observe is limited by the speed of light. The "border" to the unobservable is called the particle horizon.
Embarrassing enough for a sci-fi author but the "time machine" comment is fucking Reddit-tier.
Not only time machines in a wider sense, "literal" time machines.

All stars except the sun are many lightyears away from earth, light and radiation from them travel by the speed of light. Like the name suggests, the information of that star only reach our solar system an incredibly long time after it left the star. We observe the past of that star, because the information takes so long to reach us, some of the stars are so far away they might have already gone nova already while we will still see it on our sky for hundreds of years.
Calling that a "time machine" is very fitting for an almost drop-out of american high-school.

this is so fucking hype. let's fucking go maria. punch a hole in this fraud loser's scheme to get rich off milwaukee's tax dollars. god damn I hope they take the kid gloves off with him.
Does someone need to reserve the domain paymilwaukee.lol for when he loses this case too?

lol yeah, I wish Rick would post more dumb science shit, it's more fun than his perpetual prison enjoyment curses. I recently bought a Kindle, so I think I'll download a few of his books and post some excerpts and comments on them, just for some fun reprieve from the childing.

Only for certain conditions. Don't think we're there yet. If the case gets dismissed at the 1st hearing the city will probably not demand payments. Unless Milwaukee can come in with good data showing the pay-to-self-swat claim was actually true.

this is a “lol fuck this faggot we’re ready let’s fuckin goooo” right?
Only in the sense of now Motions to dismiss can get filed. 1st will be the standard 'lack jurisdiction' and then the 'immune due to being the sovereign and shit' motion.

This only pops off for everyone's entertainment if Alan-torswats/his seized stuff has proof that yea, Patrick was a self-swat. I'd expect sealed filings over that/closed hearing over the revelation and the unsealing of the criminal case once the fed case is stayed depending on the state criminal case or just dismissed.

Best time I had in the fed was my paperwork became part of sealed records and the gent's attorney bailed. Had to call the nope'n out law dog, ask if he understood the nature of the 2nd set of sealed records and then send him a copy when he expressed the idea I was pulling his leg. The 1st set seems to have been by a judge in the case that had to do with her personal security/why the US Marshals were going all over town asking questions to the people who knew the gent and how dangerous he was.

Stadmuller is old FBI/DOJ as I remember. If a self-swat is shown he won't be happy with Patrick.

He's old enough he doesn't need to be there so if the case goes south he's not gonna mess up a higher court seat. He may have been assigned because his normal courtroom accommodates more people due to his seniority. He's had cybercrime hearings in the past and didn't seem confused over tech in case this thing goes beyond the normal out the gate dismissal efforts.

If what you're saying about him being old FBI/DOJ is true, lmao.

He's going to have very little patience for Patty's theatrics. Old school judges can be downright assholes.
